• Duties include installing and maintaining the SAS Viya in existing big data platform.
• Monitors and tunes the SAS Viya software for optimal performance.
• Responsible in installation of new user accounts, creates batch administration scripts and runs systems backups and disaster recovery operations.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or relavent field
• Min 10 years’ experience in App Infrastructure setup and management, analyzing, developing and implementation of various applications in SAS , Storage and Linux platforms
• Experience in Infrastructure planning design capacity planning and performance tuning
• 3+ years of experience working in a high volume SAS Viya Administration
• 7+ years of experience infrastructure support with Unix Linux Shell Scripting Administration Unix Linux system monitoring tools and technologies
• Experience in application hardware capacity requirements, need to engage with Build & Engineering team to setup the Virtual machine, Physical servers, for activities like cabling, hostname allocation, OS Installation & configuration with required CPU, Memory and storage requirements.
• Proficiency in windows Batch Scripting and BMC Control-M, Tivoli Scheduling.
• Knowledge on other scheduling applications like IBM Tivoli, Cron Jobs, SAS LSF, Windows Scheduled Tasks.
• Knowledge in Informatica / DataStage administration
• Knowledge in Hadoop Technologies (Spark and Pyspark)
• Certified in SAS is preferred
