Job Responsibilities
1. Delivers guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or other designated areas.
2. Assists guests with luggage storage and retrieval duties.
3. Delivers newspapers and mail/messages to Guest Rooms and/or other designated areas.
4. Assists guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
5. Performs doorman duties including opening of car doors, loading and unloading of guest luggage into/from vehicles and maintaining traffic control at driveway.
6. Arranges transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine service) for guests/visitors, and records advance transportation request as needed in the absence of the Concierge.
7. Be updated of Hotel’s amenities and services and provides assistance to guest enquiries.
8. Communicates parking procedures to guests/visitors.
9. Assists Concierge and Front Office staff with guest requests and services, as needed.
10. Handles other front office duties as and when assigned by Supervisor /Manager.
Requirements
1. Able to speak and write simple English.
3. Prior experience preferred, preferably 1-2 years in a similar capacity.
4. Well groomed and Customer-oriented.
5. Possesses good inter-personal skills and pleasant disposition.
6. Basic knowledge in Opera PMS system preferred.
7. Received prior training in fire evacuation and emergency procedures will be an advantage.
