Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager specializing in baby food products, your primary responsibility is to drive the growth and market presence of our baby food product line. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans to expand our market share, build strong partnerships, and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis
· Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the baby food segment.
· Analyse consumer preferences and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Strategic Planning:
· Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve sales and revenue goals.
· Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships to enhance the baby food product portfolio.
Product Development:
· Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative and nutritionally sound baby food products.
· Ensure product offerings align with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
Sales and Distribution:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
· Develop and execute sales plans to expand the distribution network and increase product visibility.
Brand Promotion:
· Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling brand messaging and promotional campaigns.
· Implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Customer Relationship Management:
· Engage with key clients and customers to understand their needs and feedback.
· Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain a positive brand image.
Financial Management:
· Develop and manage budgets related to business development and sales activities.
· Monitor and analyze financial performance against set targets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
· Proven experience with a min of 3 years’ in business development within the food or consumer goods industry, with a focus on baby products preferred in the FMCG industry.
· Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour in the baby food sector in the Singapore industry.
· Excellent management, communication, negotiation, presentation skills and strong market acumen.
· Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.
