Secondary Responsibilities and Duties

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy

• Preferably Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist or equivalent from country of origin.

Experience:

• Preferably with 3 years clinical work experience in various Intensive Care Units in a reputable hospital.

Skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Competent in IT skills (Microsoft Excel / Word / Access / PowerPoint).

• Service oriented and customer focused.

Forms part of the software development team responsible for the development and maintenance of in-house software and applications. This will drive strategic initiatives for improved business performance and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Analyse, design, development, testing and support of application software systems (in-house developed and off the rack software)

· Ongoing initiatives and proposal for new enhancement projects

· Analyse previous source codes, diagnose defects in applications and fix problems

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

· At least 2-4 years of programming experience using Java or Object-Oriented technologies

· Good communication skills

· Experience in J2EE, JSP, Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON

· Knowledge in NodeJS will have an added advantage

· Develop web client / server type software based on Tomcat Application Server

· Previous involvement in stages of software development life cycle (SDLC)

· Knowledge and experience with MySQL database

· Familiar with Linux / UNIX environment

· Experience in healthcare applications is preferred

· To liaise with Chinese-speaking associates. Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential.

Senior/Staff Nurse, Endoscopy

You are responsible for providing specialised direct and indirect nursing care and patient education through management, coordination and evaluation of care activities for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures. To provide guidance and direction to staff nurses and below, in order to provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences

Job Description:

• Perform objective assessment, evaluation and documentation of patients’ condition
• Perform complex procedures, both non-invasive and invasive within the scope of duties
• Ensure the safe delivery of patient pre-operatively from reception / recovery to the procedures and vice versa
• Prepare patients for endoscopy procedures, setting IV cannula and preparing IV medication etc.
• Ensure and maintain principles of sterility and asepsis procedures and techniques when assisting procedures

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
• Preferably 2 years of working experience in an acute care hospital setting
