Responsibilities
- Responds to orders via phone and email, enters and verifies the items, moves orders to fulfilment, notifies customers of stock outs, and provides an estimated delivery date.
- Boosts orders by presenting features, making related item suggestions, and looking up past purchases made by the customer.
- Acquires, qualifies, and advances prospects referred by national accounts, outside sales, and marketing.
- Finds methods for ongoing process improvement.
- Gathers, creates, and follows up on written or spoken quotes in order to obtain orders or ascertain the cause of an order's loss.
- Examines open customer order reports and responds to open items, including those that might put the customer's promised delivery date in jeopardy.
- Keeps track of customer notifications, related expediting reports and notices, and backorder reports from the distribution system.
- Notifies management of market trends, competitive pricing, and client feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Diploma in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 2 - 3 of sales and sales administration experience preferably from IT/ security solution industry
- Capable of traveling up to 25% per annum
