HR Duties
Assist HR Manager to overseeing HR/Admin functions for all employees
1. RECRUITMENT
Ā· Ensuring that the companyās hiring process and documentation are compliant with the Fair Consideration Framework and all other requirements / guidelines / advisories by the Singapore government / Ministry of Manpower.
Ā· Responsible for sourcing of candidates by means including but not limited to the Job Bank, online recruitment portals, Staff referral Scheme and recruitment agencies.
Ā· Conducting pre-interview screening of job applicants and forwarding shortlisted applications to recruiting managers
Ā· Arranging for pre-employment medical examinations for selected candidates
Ā· Liaising with selected candidates to explain proposed terms of employment and staff benefits and to finalize employment of selected candidates.
2. WORK PASS ADMINISTRATION INCLUDING EMPLOYMENT PASSES
Ā· To handle administration work in relation to work passes including but not limited to the application, cancellation and renewing of work passes.
3. HANDLE STAFF ENQUIRIES AND DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
Ā· Ensuring that HR policies and procedures are communicated to staff and responding to internal enquiries relating to the same.
Ā· Assisting in the administration of the companyās grievance reporting, investigation and disciplinary process.
4. STAFF RESIGNATION AND TERMINATION
Ā· Processing and handling staff resignation and termination in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Ā· Conducting admin for staff who have resigned /been terminated such as arranging for handover, calculating and arranging for last payment to staff and income tax payment (for foreigners).
5. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Ā· Responsible for staff training and development program
6. OFFICE ADMINISTRATION AND IT SUPPORT MATTERS
Ā· Overseeing and provide support in office administration matters
Ā· Assist in handling IT support matters such as email creation, online meeting bookings, hardware/software renewal matters.
7. OTHERS
Ā· Develop and implement human resources strategies, plans, policies, processes and programs
Ā· Draft documents such as letters and Inter Memos upon requests
Ā· Assist in preparation & execution of Company events and matters
REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience) :
Please specify;
. Degree in Human Resources (HR) or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience
. Displays good understanding and knowledge of local human resources practices, local employment laws and regulations
. Familiar with construction industry work pass and training requirements.
. Hands on experience in Employment Pass application and requirements.
.Experience in handling payroll process (for at least 150 staff)
. Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) required as candidate will be expected to communicate frequently with internal stakeholders and draft documents such as letters and employment contracts
. Good command of MS Office applications
. Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong decision-making skills
