POSITION SUMMARY

• Review and establish a common set of contractual terms with external learning vendors and contracting process, which will guide the procurement of learning support and vendor management across the entire Academy team.
• Manage and review enterprise-level learning subscriptions, such as Udemy, Gartner, Singapore Computer Society, to ensure good return-of-investment and cost effectiveness.
• Manage the learning facilities within Synapxe and ensure that they are set up properly to support the delivery of learning programmes.

• Work very closely with the Competency Development and Governance team to support the learning needs of the organisation. • Collaborate with BUs to develop learning roadmaps based on competency frameworks to ensure that the learning needs for employees are clearly reflected for different job grades.
• Facilitate and oversee in-house training programmes for staff such as Group Orientation in an engaging and professional manner.
• Conduct timely reviews of the programmes run by Synapxe Academy to ensure that programmes are effective, and to source for alternative programmes, where relevant.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree with more than 15 years of working experience and prior experience in Learning and Development domain.
• Has at least 5 years of supervisory experience managing a small team of at least 3 staff independently.

Your Job

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, tax withholdings, and other payroll-related matters.

• Collaborate closely with Regional HR Service Hub on operational topics and participate in regional HR projects.
• Work with other departments like finance and global reporting team for several relevant reporting, intercompany cost charging and cost allocation topics.

Your Profile

• Qualified tertiary education in HR, accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of end to end payroll processing experience, with experience handling employee mobility cases and complex tax returns in a global environment

3. Strategic Talent Acquisition Initiatives

• Lead talent acquisition projects, including employer branding, diversity recruitment, and proactive talent pipelining, to support long-term business goals.
• Analyze market trends and competitor hiring practices to ensure competitive positioning and innovation in talent acquisition efforts.
• Partner with HR leadership and other stakeholders to build an employer value proposition that resonates with candidates and supports our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

4. Team Leadership and Development

• Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, performance feedback, and development opportunities.

Requirements:
