Assistant Cook experience requirements

Assistant Cooks have no specific work experience requirements. However, employers prefer candidates who have worked with a cook or have experience in a kitchen-related role. Applicants who have worked in restaurants, commercial kitchens, catering agencies and hotels are ideal for this role. Candidates can also receive valuable experience through volunteering. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the protocols and procedures of the food service industry, including health and safety standards. We are currently hiring an Assistant Programme Manager (Events) to anchor our Talent pillar that includes:

• Driving integrated programme management for existing and new talent programmes that we develop or implement in partnership with CSA.
• Working with various programme partners and stakeholders for the implementation of programmes that generate interest, grow pipeline of cybersecurity talents and build cybersecurity capabilities for relevant industry professionals.
• Responsible for conceptualising, managing, and implementing the full spectrum of events organisation, including pre-event to post-event management, marketing plans and budget tracking for multiple events, workshops, and networking sessions.
• Account managing partners as required, seeing to the smooth execution of events and programme activities, manage related stakeholders and resources, internal and external.
• Provide programmes needs analysis, proactively tracking programme success and iterate on programme design as necessary using a data driven approach.
• Serve as an active ambassador for our programmes and see to the marketing of our programmes to relevant audience, including social media, email campaigns and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities: Take customers’ orders in a hotpot restaurant, answering questions on meal items if needed, making food recommendations if requested. Serve the food and beverages efficiently. Clean tables and re-stock tableware and other supplies. Ensure overall cleanliness of all work area at all times.

Requirements: Prior experience in steamboat restaurant is an added advantage.
Able to perform café opening hours including weekends and public holidays (6pm -11pm or 10pm - 3am). Timing can be discussed.
Up to $15/hr based on experience.
Uniform Provided.

Job scope:

• To perform manual billing for hospital/clinic, upload invoices into respective hospital/clinic portal.
• To perform backup role for Customer Care team
• No customer fronting
• To perform onsite count on consignment location in hospital
• 88 locations of consignment inventory, typical 3 count per year per location
• Sales representatives will feedback on inaccuracy of inventory
• Client will provide equipment for count using RFID

Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Logistics and Supply Chain
• Willing to work onsite at client’s office 3 days per week (near MRT)
• Will be based in Company's warehouse (2 days per week)
• Must be meticulous
• A good team player

Others:

• 5 days (Mon-Fri), 2 working locations (West/South-West)
• Transport allowance will be provided when travelling to hospitals for onsite count
• Company’s transport is provided to & fro
• Basic salary: $2500 - $3000, AWS, Performance bonus
