Job Overview

We seek an experienced Technical Project Manager / Delivery Lead focusing on core banking applications. This role requires over 10 years of experience in banking technology, specifically managing application development, enhancements, and regulatory compliance projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to manage the full SDLC using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The role emphasizes project delivery and ensures banking applications are updated, secure, and aligned with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Project Leadership: Oversee the delivery of large-scale banking application projects, ensuring the seamless execution of upgrades, new functionalities, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• End-to-End Project Delivery: Collaborate with development teams, business users, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from user stories to implementation and support.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues related to banking application projects, ensuring smooth execution.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate clearly and openly with stakeholders, sponsors, and technical teams to align project objectives and manage expectations.
• Vendor & Resource Management: Manage external vendors and resource allocation to meet project timelines and quality standards within budget constraints.
• Agile & Waterfall Project Management: Lead teams in both Agile and Waterfall environments, ensuring proper tracking of requirements, technical documentation, and progress.
• Testing & Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to banking regulatory standards, with thorough testing and validation to meet security and quality benchmarks.
• Production Support & Incident Management: Provide leadership during high-severity incidents and collaborate with production support teams to ensure issues are resolved swiftly.

Core Competencies

• Banking Applications Expertise: Deep understanding of core banking application development and maintenance, including compliance with financial services regulations.
• Agile & Waterfall Project Management: Expertise in managing projects using both Agile (JIRA, Confluence) and Waterfall SDLC methodologies within the banking industry.
• CI/CD & Incident Management: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube, combined with skills in incident management using ServiceNow and BMC Remedy.
• Vendor & Resource Coordination: Proven ability to manage external vendors and allocate resources effectively to support application development and upgrades.
• Regulatory Compliance & Security: Extensive experience ensuring that banking applications comply with industry regulations, including security and audit requirements.
• Technical Development & Testing: Strong background in requirement gathering, application development, support, bug tracking, and regression testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in banking technology project management, with a focus on core banking applications.
• 10+ years of experience in Agile project management, with at least two recent banking application projects.
• Knowledge of Kafka, API development, and MariaDB is advantageous.
• Scrum Certified Professional (SCP) certification is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Technical Project Manager (Banking AML-KYC) for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business and technology initiatives for assigned programs and projects.
• Leverage standard tools, methodologies, and processes to deliver, monitor, and control service level agreements.
• Manage a project team to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining budgetary constraints.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage project risks and issues, ensuring effective mitigation plans are in place.
• Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Program Project Management, demonstrating expert proficiency in Business Process Design, Integration Management, and Requirements Analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) practices.
• Familiarity with KYC systems (e.g., Detica/NetReveal) and their functionalities or technical understanding is a significant advantage.
• Strong background in System Implementation Project Management, with the ability to drive discussions effectively, manage stakeholders, and provide concise management updates.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a knack for problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities

• Lobby presence will be a key task. Main duties include greeting and escorting guests patronizing our hotel
• Monitor expected bookings, ensure guests are being welcomed and greeted in an appropriate manner
• Provide flawless, upscale, professional and high class guest service experiences for guest throughout their stay
• Analyze customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall guest positive rating
• Establish a rapport with guests, maintaining good relationship and handle all guest feedback, requests and enquiries
• Liase with operation team including receptionist, concierge, housekeping and F&B service staff to provide an overall comfortable guest experience
• Coordinate with pre-arrival team and send pre-arrival emails and to ensure that guests preferences/request are met
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming at all times in line with the hotel’s grooming standards/guidelines
• Well informed of hotel facilities and be able to answer all guest inquiries
• Develop and maintain close business contact with in-house guests and to provide personalised service whenever possible
• Resolve all guest feedback and ensure guest satisfaction prior to departure

Job Requirements
