Your responsibility involves:

• Providing thought leadership for the internal IT (Infrastructure, Application, Automation) team

Data Centre Facility Engineer

Must have prior experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions.

Job description

1. Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and access control systems.

2. Perform preventive maintenance on data centre equipment and systems.

3. Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.

4. Liaise with the building landlord to coordinate maintenance schedules, address building infrastructure issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

5. Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.
