In our efforts to support the reduction of e-waste, we work actively with companies to

extend the lifespan of laptops through employees laptops buy-back scheme and

refurbishing used laptops for donation to disadvantaged communities.

As part of our expansion plans for the Sustainability Programme, we are looking for an

Executive to drive and grow the programme. EG supports corporations towards meeting

their ESG - Sustainability goals through a programme of enabling employees to

buy-back their decommissioned laptops and refurbishing the remaining

decommissioned laptops for donation to disadvantaged communities, as well as proper

disposal as e-waste for remaining damaged or obsolete laptops.

The Executive will liaise with corporations to work out the processes involved in

executing the laptop buy-back programme for their employees. The buy-back scheme

aims to support corporations in their sustainability efforts by allowing their employees to

purchase their decommissioned laptops for personal use, thus extending the useful

lifetime of the laptops and helping to reduce e-waste.

The Executive will act as the ambassador of EG, and play a crucial role in promoting

our causes of supporting disadvantaged communities. You will be the key person to

manage and ensure smooth operations of the buy-back programme and work closely

with corporations, volunteers and partners in this ecosystem of reducing the impact of IT

products on the environment, to devise strategies for the programme’s continued

success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent EG in interactions with our corporate partners and customers of the Buy-back programme

Responsibities

• Support the activities of special needs students and/or child in the Centre.
• Support and supervise the student's activities in the Centre and engage them actively during the SCC operating hours.
• Assist to upkeep and maintain the SCC facility.
• Support and work with the Centre Supervisor for the smooth operations of the Centre
• Assist the Supervisor and management in meeting the student enrolment targets and profit goals.
• Support and help the children in their SPED academic, social, personal hygiene, music, art and motor skills to promote the students’ physical, mental and social development.
• Assist and work with the Supervisor to upkeep and maintain the facility.
• Conduct weekly inspection on the premise and ensure that that it is compliance with existing APSN/regulatory (MSF) requirements
• Assist and recommend instructional materials and teaching aids needed to facilitate the teaching of our students
• Ensure that food are administer to the students in accordance to proper food handling and hygiene practice in accordance to HACCP requirements.
• Work with the Centre Supervisor and ensure the safety and well-being of each individual child.
• Observe children to detect signs of ill health or emotional disturbance and to evaluate progress.
• Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun.
• Assist the Centre Supervisor on student enrolment, expense, manpower, operations and etc.
• Engage the children under the Centre care and perform classroom-teaching duties in accordance to the curriculum developed by APSN
• Supervise the student’s activities in the Centre and engage them actively.
• Work with the Centre Supervisor and reporting to school leaders on SCC matters, according to the requirements of Ministry of Education.
• Work with parents/teaching staff regarding student behavioral or learning problems, and recommends methods of modifying inappropriate behaviour and encouraging learning experiences.

Requirements

• Min Diploma with 1-3 years of relevant working experience in the social service sector. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
