• Study 3D product design and 2D drawing and collaborate internally with tool designer and engineering on design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Participate in tool trial, part evaluation, problem analysis and solving, as well as documentation preparation and issuance.
• Collaborate with internal project team members and customers on scheduling and technical issues, to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering/precision engineering.
• At least two years of working experience in related industry (no experience with relevant studies will be considered)
• Knowledge with practical experience in the field of plastic injection and tool fabrication, or mechanical product design is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Great attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and ownership.
• Ability to evaluate a situation and make decision based on the facts and not by gut instinct and unproved assumption.
• Good collaboration skills to work as a team and across teams, to problem solve to achieve desired results.
