Job Description:

• The incumbent shall thrive as part of the performing sales team and will be responsible to attain the set team/individual sales budget, with revenue from product based, leasing and/or solutions-based sales.
• Possess strong sales management skills including but not limited to, tracking and attainment of sales revenue / margin based on forecast, negotiation skills to address all parties’ needs to obtain win-win status, account servicing skills with return customers / account receivable mindset.
• Build and maintain new / existing customers bases through strong market knowledge, strong partnership and engagement.
• Liaise closely with Service Operations teams to ensure reliability, availability and serviceability.
• Maintain team-based spirit with continuous market data and customer information exchange among the team to bring strong value to the Organization and Sales Dept.

Experience, Skill and Competency required:

• 5 - 8 years of pre-sales, technical sales or sales of construction equipment (such as Forklift, Excavator, Drilling Rig, Crawler Cranes) in construction / engineering industry. Interested applicants who do not possess construction equipment sales background but have ability to demonstrate the competency to be successful on this role, are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with Diploma in Engineering related background will have an advantage.

Your role

As an Engineer based in Singapore you will be a key part of the software development capability, building our world class digital asset trading and operations platform. The role will require a strong, demonstrable background in software development, test automation and product build & run. You will play an important part delivering the product roadmap, ensuring software quality, platform scalability and security - all driven in a lean agile approach. Working in collaboration with the operations, product and delivery teams you will work across the technology stack, forming part of the high functioning, productive scrum teams who will deliver features on a regular basis and run the products and platform 24/7.

What you will do

• As a hands-on developer, play a key role in the engineering capability, coding quality software, aligning to the engineering standards and deploying frequently.
• Technologies include: TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, React Native, Redux, Storybook, Node.js, AWS, Terraform, K8S, Redis, Postgres, Kafka.
• Collaborate with the product team to make sure requirements for our external and internal clients are fit for purpose, ensuring stories are ‘dev-ready’.
• Be part of building a great engineering function, helping us attract and hire quality talent.
• Be comfortable engineering in a scalable, secure and composable architecture using constructs such as event-based streaming, microservices, opensource software, containerisation and native cloud capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• To be responsible managing and implementing multiple projects with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements
• Work closely with Business Development/ Sales Team for tender/quotation
• Providing overall leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving targets efficiently
• Manage project activities to ensure timely delivery, including identification of critical path, monitoring and driving completion of interdependent activities and adjustment to project schedules to achieve overall completion deadline
• Escalate and discuss project overrun issues, scope creep, integration issues, resource requirements with clients and/or Management
• Manage day-to-day client relationship, translate customer contract into a comprehensive project plan and manage end to end delivery that includes performing project office tasks, co-ordination of internal resources, status reporting, billing, etc
• Actively manage project conflicts, dependencies changes to scope, cost or schedule, risks and issues, and ensure plans are in place to mitigate them with urgency, and communicate these to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner

• Liaison with the Shipyard, Classification society, Vendors & Clients
• Weekly progress reporting to Client & Management
• Manage resources including hardware, software, human resource facilities and logistics required for project so as to ensure completion within budget

• Provide the project team with accurate information about business needs and priorities as well as details about existing business systems

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma/Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline
