We are currently seeking a BD professional to leverage or build relationships with Internet service providers
based in Southeast Asia and building from scratch to help accelerate customer and partner growth at eero. In this role, you will work in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, use effective C-level communication skills to manage relationships, drive new partnerships and develop and execute a win-win business plan that helps our partners and sales channels thrive.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. Earning the trust of our partners, effectively negotiating terms and closing deals that lead to enduring relationships. You'll enlist the support of your peers, and leaders to ensure that strategies scale, and make smart trade-offs (e.g., short- vs. long-term account needs).
You'll identify gaps between teams, processes and plans, and demonstrate good judgment in how and when to escalate.
The ideal candidate is a business executive with proven ability in establishing and building external partnerships, preferably in or has working experience with ISPs.
As the Business development manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
โข Serve as the primary point of contact and build and support new relationships with internet
providers, telcos, and distributors based in South east Asia including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia,
Philippines, others.
โข You will act as a first line of local support as questions / issues arise with these partners. You will
present standard contract terms (including price lists) to potential customers, directing them to
relevant contacts back at eero HQ in San Francisco, California, USA.ยท
โข Youโll contribute to the strategic development of features and functionality that deepen partner
relationships.
โข You will analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities and execute on business development opportunities.
โข You will evaluate the economic cost-benefit of partnerships.
โข You will develop best practices to foster, manage, and track new business opportunities.
โข Coordinate closely with various internal stakeholder teams across functions.
โข Experience in complex contract liaison involving legal, operations and marketing teams.
โข Deliver business reviews to the senior leadership team with account updates and progress
Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline
- Min 5 years of Business development experience in Telco, IT hardware devices, Internet service providers, Network devices, LAN connectivty products etc.
- Open to 1 year contract role which is convertible to permanent employment
- Team player, self starter & driven
