Reporting to the Team Lead, Health, the successful candidate will be part of a team of specialists in Employee Benefits insurance that helps to simplify the products and deliver the protection to the client seamlessly through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Using digital tools to quote Employee Benefits insurance that comes through our online portal.
• Be the project manager taking charge of the clients’ insurance renewal process.
• Liaising with clients and insurers on policies renewal & new business placement.
• Follow up and be in-charge of sourcing for new quotations and presenting them to prospects in assigned portfolio.
• Doing Premium & Benefits Comparison by analysing the data obtained to propose solutions to clients.
• Answering product-related enquiries from the clients and providing solutions to their issues.
• Conducting Benefits Presentation session.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Employee Benefits either as Broker Support / Broker in Broking firm or Insurance Company or as a General Insurance Broker.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite i.e. MS Excel (Pivot Table & V-Lookup), Powerpoint, Word.
• Possess BCP, PGI, ComGI, & HI certifications.

Payroll

• Verifies all payroll instructions, including but not limited to, employment contracts, front office information, timesheets, receipts, etc.
• Process associates’ payroll in accordance to business agreed terms, local legislations, business / local and group / internal and external audit requirements using appointed system.
• Ensure accurate and timely salary payments, plus mailing of pay-slips to associates.

Billing

• Verifies all billing instructions, including but not limited to, service agreements, front office information, timesheets, receipts, etc.
• Process billing for clients in accordance to business agreed terms, local legislations, business / local and group / internal and external audit requirements using appointed system.
• Follow-up with clients on the receipt and query of the invoices.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoice delivery, i.e. mode, invoicing requirements etc.

Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory contributions, i.e. CPF, SDL, etc.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly closing reports to Finance.
• Support in providing adhoc reports upon branches’ request within reasonably agreed timeline.

Others

• Provide advice and support in branches’ queries relating to payroll and billing matters.
• Participate in pre / actual / post system enhancement or migration activities if required.
• Provide support in pre / actual / post audit activities if required.
• Appointed individual(s) will be tasked to :

- Process statutory claims – National service, maternity, childcare leave etc.

- Process year-end tax for all associates.

- Perform basic reconciliation work for selected clients.

Pre-requisites

• Min Diploma and above
• At least 1 year working experience with business / accounting / payroll background

Representative Management

• Administer onboarding/offboarding of representative.
• Update of representative particulars or contact details.
• Conduct induction training for newly appointed representative on submission administrative process.

Correspondence Handling

• Handle emails coming through the department mailboxes and assign to team members in-charge of respective subject matter.
• Co-ordinate with respective stakeholders and team members to implement changes that affect operation process due to request from provider/ changes in providers’ handlings.
• Disseminate announcement from product providers to keep representatives informed on product/process update.
• Proper house-keeping of all archived emails for department.
• Ensure meeting of service level for all correspondences handled for all team members.

Service Quality

• Attend to general queries from field representatives, product providers or inter-department relating to submission process/policy/account matters.
• Handle escalated complex enquiries from representatives including Not-In-Good-Order (NIGO) or reject submissions. Work closely with Compliance on escalated cases to derive decision.

Sales Submission

• Support pre/post sales applications from representatives for submission to product providers.
• Meeting of KPIs – accuracy, quality output and service levels.
• Adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines for processing functions.

Systems & Others

• Prepare management or regulatory reports.
• Ensure Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) are up-to-date.
• Attend to ad-hoc audit requests.
• Work on enhancement for new system and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes implemented and issue logs raised.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for processing functions with interdependencies.
• Identify interdependencies when analyzing issues and proactive to propose resolution.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years preferably in banking/financial industry. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role.
• Possess good knowledge in financial products (such as insurance and investment).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Purpose of position:

To support the project control personnel of various projects utilising the Worley’s project control systems in the set-up and execution phases of the project.

It is permanently assigned to the projects with a proven track record of the initiation of meaningful project control in a multi projects environment.

Key Accountabilities of position:

• Provide specialist project control services for the support of the WorleyParsons project control system
• Assist the Business Systems Group in the rollout of the project control system including initial configuration and contribution to training activities
• Liaise with project teams to ensure the correct utilisation of the project control system based on project specific requirements and corporate guidelines
• Review and develop data interfaces for third party project systems, as required
• Prepare and control Inter Entity Work Orders
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Systems Customer Sector Group. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Business Systems Customer Sector Group
• Undertake project roles, as required, to include: Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processed, interface with project personnel to develop project forecasts and analyse project costs, supervise any supporting roles in the project cost control area, liaise with clients to clarify cost related issues and develop timely and meaningful monthly invoices. Ensure payment of invoices according to EPCM contract terms, preparation of project invoices in conjunction with the Accounts Department. Liaise with Client for reporting purposes, preparation of monthly financial reports for the project. Also prepare other financial analysis as required on an adhoc basis. Implement financial controls including controlling authorisations of expenditure and cash flow projections, preparation of budgets in conjunction with engineering and construction team members, ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members, particularly in regard to cost, planning (forecasting) and procurement matters. Reviewing, auditing and improving project controls activities on specific projects - demonstration of project controls capability in the areas of cost control and scheduling to existing and potential clients (business development) and direct involvement in execution of key projects: Proposal preparation & demonstrate a high level of skill in planning Oil & Gas industry Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Management modification and maintenance projects using computer based planning and scheduling techniques. Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software operating expertise with the ability to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detail Engineering and Installation Project networks and schedules. Computer based Project Management Planning experience (especially utilising Primavera P63 package or equivalent) and ability to apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure/status and monitor.

Requirements:

• 12 to 15 years professional experience in related duties
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas / petrochemical industry
• Engineering Degree
• Must have proven track record of the initiation of meaningful project controls in a multi project environment and with demonstrable skills in management of project time and cost
