JOB PROFILE / JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role reports directly to the Principal Director and has responsibility for supporting project site works with Engineering and Sales Operations Departments, liaising with key vendors/partners and Consultants/Owners in the power quality, energy storage and renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for planning, co-ordination, execution, resolution, safety, and cost management for all Projects assigned.

2. Excellent in reading and understanding construction plan and Single-line Drawings (SLD).

11. To liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors.

12. Prepare method statement for site works and review all method statements submitted by subcontractors.

13. Record and prepare minutes of meeting.

14. Perform site planning, coordination and inspection relating to the assigned projects so as to ensure that project completion timeline, requirements and budget are met.

15. To ensure works are in compliance to quality procedures and within standard workmanship requirements.

16. Monitoring project deliverables.

Role Overview:

The Business Operations Partner supports the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to define and drive special projects and strategic initiatives on their behalf, providing operational and strategic support, and liaising with internal leadership in order to maximise impact and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support

• Assist the ELT in developing, communicating, executing and sustaining corporate strategic initiatives. Conduct research and analysis to support decision making processes.

Executive Liaison and Coordination

• Act as a key point of contact between the ELT and internal/external stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among executive team members.
• Coordinate and manage complex calendars for executives, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Project Management

• Assist in coordination of special projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.

Decision Making Support

• Provide analysis and insight to the ELT on key business issues.

Meeting Preparation and Follow Up

• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and presentations for executive meetings.
• Follow up on action items and ensure timely execution of decisions.

Communication

• Craft clear and concise communications on behalf of the ELT.
• Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure a consistent message.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a high performing team, fostering a collaborative and results oriented culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting in the formulation and documentation of strategic objectives and initiatives
• Coordinating with various departments to ensure alignment with the overall strategic direction.

Responsibilities

Key tasks include:

1. Manage the Pulau Ubin Micro-grid project;
2. Oversee and manage project management and grant administration efforts for R&D projects, including to:
   1. Monitor project progress, manage project virement and variation requests, ensure the timely submission of audit and progress reports by grantees, check and process claims submitted by grantees, and check and process invoices raised by Finance for disbursement of grant funding to grantees;
   2. Support the department in providing updates to relevant agencies on budget projections, project progress, and funding utilisation for R&D funds;
   3. Work with Finance to streamline grant administration and project management processes, including exploring the use of digital tools and data analytics to support these efforts;
   4. Improve EMA's grants governance processes; including ensuring that EMA's Grant Management Handbook adheres to NRF's guidelines, and updating the Handbook where necessary; and
3. Support the department's efforts to develop a grid capability roadmap, to identify the grid capabilities needed to support the Singapore Energy Transition and develop strategies to achieve them. This includes organising and supporting workshops and meetings where needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To support the Project Managers in the execution of customer projects.
• Administer the deployment and administration of a robust document management system to facilitate timely document review, approval, and documentation in an effective and efficient manner.
