OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Regional Planning manager is responsible for responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing the digital strategy for our client across all APAC markets.
You will participate in monitoring and evaluation on the effectiveness of different media channels. You will also work together with the offshore execution team and local EssenceMediacom teams for all day-to-day media planning and client service activities associated with assigned accounts.
The role requires collaboration with many stakeholders in planning, analytics and investment, across many levels, in a highly matrixed organization. In this capacity the Regional Planning manager must be able to manage the many projects we balance.
Working with the team’s regional leadership, you will help the team accomplish challenging goals and objectives, balancing client, company, and team priorities.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Strong digital foundation
- Google AdWords Certification OR Facebook blueprint certification
- be fully conversant with digital media and able to think across the whole media mix
- have broad cross-channel digital knowledge
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners and internal specialist resources)
- Extensive knowledge of global industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status, and competition
- be a strong communicator – English is our global language
- Solid understanding of interactive research tools
- Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
- Able to understand media data sources in terms of what is measured, the method, and information reported
- Must possess strong written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, advanced degree a plus
- At least 4-6 years’ experience in Digital planning or execution
