The Role

As Business Development Executives you are a key part of our growth engine. You always meet your targets, you like to compete and love to win! Responsible for keeping our business development team well stacked and to ensure customer satisfaction, you keep the engine running at a high pace. This opportunity will teach you how to successfully manage a complex B2B sales process and to become a master of key account management tasks in a thriving tech startup.

Main Tasks

● Create new sales leads and partnership opportunities from a variety of prospecting channels, make cold calls and book meetings.

● Persistently and thoroughly follow up your business pipeline and CRM, build lasting relationships and assist Operations in on-boarding new clients to our platform.

● Account management of clients and partnerships - consult them about the upsale on our platform while building brand awareness and spreading the core values of our vision.

● Upsell existing Giftano products and services.

● Renegotiate merchants’ existing contracts where needed.

● Assist current merchants with technical support and other merchant success related areas.

● Collaborate with merchants on collateral marketing efforts as well as internally with the Giftano marketing department.

● Communicate and execute updates from existing Giftano merchants in regards to gift and product updates.

● Ensure merchant’s assets such as images and descriptions are up to date and of the utmost highest quality.

Responsibilities:

• Partner key divisions in strategic and operational financial planning
• Support the monthly closing, forecast, and budget exercises in updating data, consolidating information, and developing reports, including impactful trends, variance analysis
• Drive financial performance to achieve value-for-money outcomes through financial advisory and decision support in project planning, procurement, contract awards and management.
• Develop financial models and business analysis to support strategic initiatives to review critical strategic and financial decisions.
• Oversee fee review process, including ensuring timeliness of review and liaising with Ministry of Transport (MOT)

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough Singapore market analysis to identify untapped opportunities and create imaginative travel products aligned with evolving consumer demands.
2. Forge strong partnerships with airlines, tourism boards, land operators, and collaborators to explore novel destinations, routes, and pricing strategies.
3. Lead special project groups, ensuring their success and curating engaging activities for customers during their tours.
4. Maintain up-to-date tour package details, along with related pricing, on our website.
5. Provide destination training to sales teams to strengthen their destination knowledge.
6. Provide dedicated backend support to sales teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of customer services.
7. Provide weekly updates of sales and inventory figures for management reporting purposes.
8. Conduct product and sales kit briefings before travel campaigns, both offline and online.
9. Collaborate with the Marketing Communications and E-commerce departments to strategically position products within the competitive market landscape.
10. Work with Marketing and technology team on in-house products to increase brand and product visibility.
11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Travel related studies.
• Min 1 year experience in product development within the travel industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated negotiation prowess with the ability to cultivate and manage valuable partnerships.
• Exceptional communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency in English & Mandarin to serve mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong organizational capabilities and adept multitasking skills.
• Diligent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Tech-savvy and has experience in project/ product management.
• Able to travel for work.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving travel business environment.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
