Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Support Engineer with a foundational understanding of Unix and Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting production systems, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution. This role requires a willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts, to provide round-the-clock support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support production systems to ensure stability, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues in Unix environments and Java-based applications.
• Escalate complex problems to senior support or development teams when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to execute routine maintenance tasks and deployments.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a production support role.

Job Responsibilities

• Picking, Pack out, Shipping and issue materials accurately
• Release cargo to forwarder/carrier
• Handling manifest
• Verify physical stock against documentation
• Perform cycle-count; receive indirect materials on behalf of end users
• Perform housekeeping of warehouse or production store facilities
• Upkeep and maintenance of materials handling equipment
• Observe and comply with standard operating procedures
• Observe and comply with warehouse safety and health rules
• Inspecting all Outbound orders info (Serial number, CoO, HS Code, ECCN, Export License Category, Strategic Good Indicator) against the physical, Invoice and factory label.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Provide first-level technical support for our products, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

•     Monitor and maintain the operational status of the datacenter infrastructure.

•     Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner, following established procedures and escalation paths.

•     Perform routine datacenter operations tasks, such as equipment checks, environmental monitoring, and inventory management.

•     Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure service continuity.

•     Document and report incidents, activities, and maintenance tasks according to standard procedures.

•     Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and datacenter operations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

•     Prior experience in a technical support role, preferably in a product support or datacenter operations capacity.

•     Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage systems.

•     Excellent Problem-solving and communication skills.

•     Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL best practices is a plus.

•     Relevant certifications in IT support and datacenter operations are advantageous.

Note

• Ability to work effectively in a 24x5 shift environment, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• The resource will be on 8-hour shift for 5 days, which may include weekends and public holidays - client will define shifts.
