Designation – Product Technology Specialist

As Product Technology Specialist, you will join our Digital and Innovation team in Singapore. This is an exciting role for you as you will experience diverse set of innovation in IOT and battery technology, understanding the customers’ needs and translating into technology solutions.

Be part of the team that brings both hardware and software capabilities seamlessly together and generate battery insights for customers.

The role will be responsible for customer onboarding, providing technical training, assisting in vendor selection with your technical expertise, and be a valuable voice-of-customer (VOC) to product development.

• To be the subject matter expert when it comes to IOT technology integration with battery system and cloud platform.

• Ability to engage customers and distil their needs to translate into technical solution and business use cases. • Gathering, validating, and documenting customers’ requirements

What We Need from You

• Electrical, electronic or computer engineering degree with a good understanding/interest of Battery technology with about 3-5 years of experience
• Comfortable in stakeholder engagement at all levels and cross border departments
• Keen to take on the challenge of leveraging both hardware and software technology in the energy sector
• The ability to understand and analyse problems, and methodical in finding solutions
• The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve project challenges
• The ability to make decisions around things such as requirement prioritisation, scope, assessing viability of solutions etc
• The ability to articulate technical and complex concepts to audience with non-technical background

• Participate in promotional activity to increase product awareness in the market
• Develop and implement plans for the product line (make recommendations into current product pipeline)

Skills & Experience:

• Possess Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Biomedical, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Medical Technology or Science
• Possess minimum of 2 years of working experience, role in sales of medical device or case support especially in ortho-implant (spine) selling experience
• Eligible to scrub in spine cases will be an advantage
• Able to travel overseas if required
• Able to work overtime as and when required (includes weekends)
• Must be comfortable in supporting cases in Operating Theatres
• Candidates with nursing background will be an advantage

Roles and Responsibility

• Work with technology, vendor and business change teams to gain an in depth understanding of the end-to-end system implementation, architecture and credit risk business process.
• Work closely and collaboratively with development and partner engineering teams.
