Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians on the day-to-day operations
• Attend to user request/reported breakdown, to investigate, check and analyse the requests/faults within stipulated timeframe
• Supervision of contractors’ performance to maintain the service standard
• Ensure maintenance is carried out per schedule and accordingly to the requirement
• Coordinate and liaise with term contractors
• Prepare and manage quotations for improvement, repair and rectification works
• Verifying contractors’ quotations, service reports and invoices
• Issuing of Purchase Order to contractors and ensure works are carried out accordingly timely
• Carry out regular inspections of the building / facilities
• Assist in emergency drills and provide logistics support for any events held in the building
• Any other ad-hoc FM related duties

Requirements

• Diploma in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services
• With 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in IFM related field
• Able to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience in critical environments (e.g. Data Centre / Cleanroom / Semiconductor plant) is an added advantage

This position reports directly to General Affairs HOD. Closely working with Procurement and Operations, primarily but not limited to handling and managing facilities-related operations and tasks.

Job Description:

• Assist the General Affairs HOD & Facilities & Procurement lead in the daily operations of the Singapore office and various warehouses island-wide
• Manage all aspects of daily facilities maintenance (M&E Services) / upgrading/repairs, support operations,
• Service contract administration, manage tenancy agreements, security, housekeeping and warehouse operations
• Plan, implement and execute preventive maintenance regime and/or ad-hoc upgrading projects and monitor the work progress.
• Source for comparative vendors/sub-contractors to carry out facility maintenance/repair works
• To ensure day-to-day facility operations are carried out smoothly; oversee outsourced vendors on preventive maintenance and any other ad-hoc repairs/ enhancements.
• Conduct safety toolbox meetings and briefings to facility staff
• Ensure compliance to relevant statutory requirements and good support to various internal departments
• Address any facilities and/or operations-related queries staff, stakeholders and various regulatory authorities
• Supervise contracted staff from the appointed vendors and ensure that the vendors fulfill the service level requirement
• Develop or support in documenting the necessary SOPs, flows and Business Continuity Plans related to facilities
• Supervise contracted staff during the conduct of any related exercises and trainings to ensure their proficiency
• Support in project costing analysis, budgeting and maintenance of approved budget
• Work closely with Procurement Department to prepare and manage related tenders and contracts with appointed vendors
• Facilitate incident investigation whenever necessary.

Requirements:

• Possess minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building/Facilities/Real Estate Management or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in warehouse or real estate facility management environment. Logistics / Supply Chain / Express Delivery companies will be an advantage
• Certified in Fire & Safety is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese as to communicate effectively with our China counterpart and Chinese-speaking customer.

• Proficiency in MS office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint including Chinese word processing.

You will lead projects in the design, development and implementation of analytical models through strategic use of data asset for delivering efficient and effective healthcare. You will be the subject matter expert for one of the following areas: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Graph Analytics, Operation Optimization, Genomics Analytics, Blockchain for healthcare or any emerging areas that can transform the data landscape in healthcare.

You will collaborate with clinicians and end users to conceptualise solutions that address the organisation’s challenges with appropriate data and techniques in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. You will drive the framing and scope the business problem for various domains across Clinical services, Finance and Operations together with key stakeholders. You will lead the implementation of end-to-end Data and Machine Learning Operations pipeline through best practices in validation and test-driven development, continuous deployment, model monitoring and continuous re-training/integration in order to benefit and make an impact to users. You will also spearhead and conduct feasibility studies on machine learning technology stacks that will benefit and impact Singhealth, as well as facilitate regular key management meetings and reporting.

Job Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering or related quantitative disciplines. Doctorate Degree is an advantage.
• Preferably 10 years of hands-on experience (including postgraduate research) in data mining, machine learning modelling (computer vision, natural language processing, regression, time-series etc.) and optimization.
• Provide deep expertise and advisory in development of applications/projects using NLP methods to extract relevant data from unstructured/semi-structured dataset.
• Possess in-depth experience in applied machine learning methodology which includes Exploratory Data Analysis, data cleaning and preparation, model training and hyper parameter tuning, model selection and model deployment.
• Proficient in data science and programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, machine learning and NLP frameworks such as sklearn, tensorflow, Pytorch, spacy, HuggingFace, etc.
• Knowledgeable in SQL, Hadoop/Spark, Graph Database and related databases.
• Strong analytical and quantitative solving ability with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Meticulous and able to work independently effectively.
• Prior experience in healthcare is an advantage.
