Who We Need

The Facilities Management Senior / Engineer is responsible for ensuring the Hospital buildings; mechanical and electrical equipment is in good functioning order and provide advice to fellows’ technician.

You will be responsible for the followings:

• Plans, monitors, schedules and implements measures on the Planned Preventive Maintenance Program for the Hospital buildings and also ensures that the work is done in accordance with schedule and specification.
• Provides technical support and take charge on matters concerning the parts replacement and repairs; maintenance and service activities of all the mechanical & electrical equipment in the Hospital.
• Delegates and attend to building fault requests; drainage; landscape; plants; sanitary and plumbing works as assigned.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers with regard to improvement works and purchasing of equipment and spare parts.
• Prepares weekly and monthly building reports.

How to Succeed

• Possesses a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services / in any discipline.
• 3 - 5 years supervisory experience in Building, Mechanical & Electrical system maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) and Electrical Systems.
• Carry out Energy audits including yearly Energy submissions, EEOA and ISO50001 audits
• Will act as the site Singapore Certified Energy Manager and liaisons with the authorities
• Assist to develop and implement policies, protocol and procedures to maintain full compliance to the regulatory requirements
• Support the effective planning and management of activities of outsourced service partners, providing supervision and managing their performance
• Attend to all emergency on and off hours, to provide a timely response to incidents as they arise and assist in emergency management and contingency planning
• Participate and assist in all internal and external audits
• Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities, initiate corrective measures to maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment
• Carry out cost saving and sustainability initiatives
• Formulate and implement operating procedures to ensure optimum operation of system
• Ensure plant drawings, data and other appropriate documentation are generated and properly filed for future reference and review
• Comply with all Environment Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering discipline
• Registered SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager)
• Must maintain the accreditation yearly as the Energy Manager.
• Experienced in a semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be carrying out daily administration and technical support functions to Facilities Management (FM).

Responsibilities

• Daily building walkabout to pick up maintenance and safety gaps
• Coordination and effective communication with internal users, service partners as well as vendors for work
• Prepare site-related SOPs and guides to train technical personnel
• Able to prepare Request for Quotes, source quotations and to prepare justification and summary papers for management approval
• Able to support other venture sites relating to FM matters as secondary backup
• Raise Purchase Request / documents for management approval
• Assist in preparing Master Maintenance Schedule, follow up maintenance schedule and ensure work delivery is of highest quality from vendors
• Coordinate closely with HQ FM on Facilities Management approaches
• Conduct tool box / safety briefing to vendors before the commencement of work
• Perform any other duties relating to facilities management as assigned by the Company

Requirements

• Diploma and/or Degree in Engineering / Building-related
• Minimum 3 years' of experience in facilities / building environment
• LEW electrical license by EMA
• Manufacturing environment / Managing Agent background preferred
• Specialized in ACMV and compressor air system
• Experience in Integrated Facilities Management in both soft and hard services
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
