Job Responsibilities

• Diagnosis, repairs and servicing of vehicles - Japanese / Continental / Hybrid / Commercial (up to 14 ft)
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness and etc
• Ensure repair works carried out with compliance to all statutory checks and regulations
• Complete work order for each vehicle and unit serviced
• Complete visual inspection before handing over vehicle
• Handle diagnostic tools, interpret and solve fault codes
• Any other duties assigned

Job Requirements

• At least have NITEC in Automotive Engineering or related discipline
• Possess a valid IMI certificate (Level 3) would have an added advantage
• Must have hands on experience in automotive industry (min 2-3 years experience)
• Proficient in repairing continental japanese car
• Able to work independently, troubleshoot various issues correctly
• Know to use the diagnostic tool
• with a valid class 3 driving license
• Able to work 6 days per week

Working hours:

· 5.5 days work week

· Company transportation is provided (to/from MRT stations like Kranji, Choa Chu Kang & Pioneer)

• Remove, disassembly and assembly of Pumps and other rotating equipment.
• Overhauling of various types of gear train equipment.
• Alignment and experience in using dial indicator, laser alignment kit etc.
• Technique and principles of rotating equipment lubrication.
• Mechanical seal, O rings and its application.
• Steam turbine repair and maintenance.
• Coupling removal and installation.
• Cooling tower fans and gearbox repair and maintenance.
• Blowers, air compressor and fan repair and maintenance.
• Familiar with bearing and its application and handling.
• Familiar with general purpose machinery monitoring equipment.
• Some knowledge on the subject of vibration.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance procedures and its implementation.
• Familiar with some tools for measuring machinery equipment performance.
