About the job

The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise and oversight for E&I maintenance and technical changes to the instrument and electrical systems, including the basic process control systems (DCS), the safety systems and the various electrical systems in close collaboration with the respective Plant Engineers.

Requirements:

• Possesses Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical related disciplines

• Able to perform rotating shifts
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good communication and project management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments.

Workshop Service Technician with experience servicing Downhole drilling tools (Jar, intensifier, Coil Tubing tools, Motor, Shock tool, agitator etc.) or hydraulic or mechanically operated equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Fully competent in servicing hydraulic/mechanically operations tools.
• Experience with servicing NOV downhole drilling tools will be added advantage.
• Prepare tools for inspection/cleaning
• Prepare load-out tools for field
• Unload tools from field & check tool return
• Prepare service report after service or repair
• Prepare damage report
• A recognized performer who is sought out for technical expertise by peers
• Able to understand tool drawings
• Ability to take measurements with various measuring equipment
• Follow 5S implementation of workshop
• Report on weekly basis (Tools availability list) and on monthly basis
• Ad-hoc activities as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

• GCE ‘O’/ ITE Certificate in Technical or Mechanical or equivalent
• Min 2 years experience in servicing Downhole tools in oil & gas industry is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation and Maintenance

• Safely set up, adjust, and operate a range of textile machines, including single jersey knitting machines, carding, yarn spinning equipment, yarn melting machines, woven machines, and other lab-scale instruments.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machines and testing lab equipment, such as troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors for repairs, and scheduling regular maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical parts repair and troubleshooting is beneficial.

Quality Control and Testing

• Utilize measurement devices to ensure accurate production and conduct standard quality testing procedures on yarns, fabrics, non-woven materials, and membranes.
• Familiarity with general laboratory equipment like hotplates and hot-press machines is advantageous.

Adaptability and Documentation

• Quickly adapt to new equipment and processes, as well as evolving measuring procedures.
• Maintain meticulous records in the laboratory journal, documenting sample preparation conditions and testing results accurately.

Safety and Compliance

• Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the laboratory environment.
• Attend regular safety training sessions, maintain safety records, and uphold safe working conditions.
• Ability to lift up feeders with polymers, containers and other parts of machinery up to 10-15 kg weight is necessary.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with textile manufacturing machinery is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

QC - 12-hr Day Shift:

• Inspect incoming raw materials and final products.
• Evaluate new source of raw materials
• Prepare product certificate of analysis
• Carry out calibration and maintenance of equipment and housekeeping of the QC laboratories
• Participate in quality and environment assurance operations
• Participate in investigation of product and process problem, customer complaint and any other quality related issue.
• Participate in continuous improvement program in QEHS

Requirements:

• ITE, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Science
• Candidates with ‘O’ or ‘A’ level with relevant working experiences may apply

• Plan and supervise the team of Technicians in the execution of preventive, corrective maintenance programs within schedule and cost, and in compliance with company's and regulatory standards and requirements, and meeting customer’s expectations.
• Troubleshoot/ fault diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure
• Develop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant before executing maintenance activities
• Establish and maintain a proper documentation system to archive all jobs internally and with customers for sharing and audit purposes
• Engage stakeholders to resolve technical problems that arises in the plant.
• Assist the maintenance head to identify, plan & review the training needs of the section
• Assist the maintenance head to review and identify spare requirements classifying under Strategic or Inventory spare
• Assist the maintenance head to develop the section's Maintenance budget
• Timely resolution of technical issues to recover plant and return it to commercial operations.
• Troubleshooting plant/equipment problems
• Scheduling and optimizing manpower both staff and contractors

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in relevant Maintenance fields in a Power Plant or Petrochemical Industry
