• As the Key Point of Contact for allocated Divisions, your role encompasses supporting business stakeholders to ensure compliance and achieve operational efficiency by reducing queries and errors due to unfamiliarity with the Expenditure processes.
• Verification of employee claims in SAP Concur for validity and compliance to policies before reimbursing staff on a timely basis.
• Establish if anomalies detected in Data Analytics (“DA”) report warrant further investigation. In addition, utilise information from the report to fine tune the parameters and review potential implications for process improvements or automation.
• Involve in month-end and year end closing activities, prepare journal entries and ensure that all expenses incurred are properly accrued and accounted for.
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded by reconciling it to external reports on a regular basis.
• In addition, you will endeavour to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
• 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience for a large organization, preferably with some exposure to e-Commerce business
• System use – SAP Concur
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, comfortable using Pivot table and Power BI.
• Responsible, with an eye for detail, analytical, self-motivated and highly organized
• Good business partnering skills, self-driven, resourceful team player with hands-on approach to problem solving
• Strong collaboration mindset and interpersonal skills to able to work well and provide strong support to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Positive “can-do” attitude and able to multi-task, resilient and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must have a firm grasp of written English to be able respond to queries coming in via email.

Job Description

• Working Location: East – Loyang (Nearest MRT: Pasir Ris)
• Working Hours: 5. Days (Mon to Thurs 8 am-6 pm, Fri 8 am-5 pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer invoicing and track incoming payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices and prepare payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate AP records.
• Conduct credit checks and establish credit terms for new customers.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection efforts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
