Accounts Executive (Accounts Payable)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Personnel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices from regular, term, and ad hoc suppliers. This role involves performing thorough verification processes, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining meticulous records for audit support.

Job Description:

· receive and review invoices from regular, and ad hoc suppliers.

· Verify invoices by cross-referencing with purchase orders (PO), goods received notes (GRN), delivery orders, and invoice amounts.

· Prepare payment documents and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Navigate the necessary approval process for payments.

· Update the Accounts Payable (AP) subledger with invoices and payment info regularly.

· Maintain organized records of supporting documents for both internal and external audit purposes.

· Coordinate with vendors to address credit notes and resolve any payment-related queries.

· Collaborate with in-house purchaser for month-end accrual.

· Prepare and post necessary month-end data entries to facilitate timely month-end closure.

· Vet through GST submission thoroughly

· Assign with ad hoc accounting task as and when required

Requirements:

· Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· At least 3-5 years’ experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

· Strong attention to detail

· Effective communication skills for vendor coordination & internal as well

· Ability to work independently as part of a team.

-Processes monthly payroll timely and accurately including overtime payment, claims, incentives and allowances.

-Posts payroll transactions into Infotech system.

-Creates and updates employee data timely and accurately on Infotech system.

-Prepares salary reconciliation reports.

-Prepares Payroll Monthly Reports (Overtime Report, Man-hours Report, Payroll Cost Report and Headcount Reports) to various department heads.

-Submits government related claims and tax related matters timely and accurately.

-Respond to all internal and external inquiries on payroll related issues and taxation.

-Administers leave management system.

-Administers the annual Staff Performance Appraisal.

Requirement:

• At least 2 years of payroll experience
• Conversant with statutory payroll regulations
• Meticulous and systematic
• Able to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Perform general bookkeeping and full set of accounting functions - handle daily operational AP/AR tasks including invoicing, payment, receipts etc.
• Perform monthly reconciliation and reports
• Debts collections - Contact customer to ensure that their payments are made on time
• GST filing
• Prepare monthly sales commission and checking of incentives.
• Handle any other ad-hoc hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Meticulous and organized
• Possess positive learning attitude & a good team player
• Pro-active and able to multi-task and work independently within deadline
• Knowledge of "XERO" Software will be advantage
• With at least 2 years accounting experience will be advantage
• Working hours &days: 5 days work week,9 am to 6pm
• Working location - Ubi

Accounts Executive – West coast ( 5 Day)

- Full set of accounts ( e.g. GST / Balance sheet / trial balance & Journals)

- can handle simple reporting in Excel spreadsheet

- can start work immediately but not a must

- SME company

- Basic salary : S$ 3500 – S$ 3800 neg
