RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sourcing for new seafarer and arranging for interview of senior officers with the respective department heads
• Contacting ex-seafarer for redeployment
• Checking seafarer’s certificates, including arrangement for medical check-up as per Charterer’s requirement
• Checking of seafarer’s certificate authenticity with the relevant authority and application for Flag State licence
• Maintaining up-to-date seafarer’s personnel file and monitoring seafarer’s certificates and documents expiry
• Updating crew planning/rotation list and crew list
• Ensure that the crew change is carried out promptly and in an effective and cost- effective manner
• Ensuring crew appraisal assessment is being conducted, signed and filed
• Liaise with crew agents and port agents for crew joining/repatriation, including booking of flight and visa application
• Extension of crew’s entry pass and ship’s landing pass with Singapore Immigration Authority
• Declaration of immigration clearances and outward port clearance
• Update of crew article, including sign on/off via MPA Marinet
• Application of visa, where required
• Updating of crew’s personal records and certification in the crew management system
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Min GCE ‘O’ Level or marine related trade certificates
• Mature and able to work independently
• Preferable with working experience in offshore or marine related industry
• Fast learner, meticulous and able to work overtime when required
• Proficient in MS Office application

We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer-oriented shop assistant to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations. The shop assistant’s responsibilities include welcoming customers to our shop, monitoring customer activities to prevent incidents of shoplifting, arranging window displays accordingly, and processing customer refunds. Duties & Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing, and organising shipments and deliveries accordingly.
• Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organised according to established guidelines.
• Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.
• Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.
• Performing regular price audits to identify and correct price discrepancies.
• Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors, and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor.
• Addressing and resolving customers complaints in a professional manner.
• Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in various external market surveys on behalf of SATS and stay updated with the latest external best practices in Rewards.
• Conduct comprehensive job evaluations to assess roles within the organization to determine their relative value and compensation levels.
• Perform market-related pay research and benchmarking, periodically reviewing reward packages to maintain competitiveness, and making necessary adjustments and enhancements to existing policies and programs.
• Ensure rewards practices align with legislations and internal company policies.
• Administer Company Share Plans, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Human Capital-related projects as and when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant rewards experience. A strong desire to grow as a total rewards professional is a prerequisite for this role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint: Strong proficiency in these tools is essential for data analysis, report generation, and effective communication.
• Willingness to Learn: Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to compensation and benefits. Display a keen interest in continuous learning and professional development.
• Meticulous: Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, especially when dealing with sensitive information.
