The Regional Manager of Strategic Initiatives Division is responsible for leading a variety of financial, strategic functional support to the Business, including evaluation of strategic business expansion projects, monitoring Key Performance Index (KPI), and assisting in the preparation and support of management reporting between the regional headquarters and Parent Company in Japan.

In addition, the incumbent should be able to understand the high-level implications, conduct preliminary assessment, identify, and resolve issues independently. The Regional Manager must be able to build a project plan, and conduct feasibility study, coordinate business performance evaluations with various levels of internal and/or external personnel and make effective presentations to senior management.

• Ensure due diligence by way of negotiation and planning/conducting corporate evaluation to ensure seamless execution of business projects undertaken by the company in the area of strategic corporate growth, including HR Tech business.
• Continuously monitor the progress of project, review the business plans, review and resolve the problems that may be arises.
• Keeping all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout the project.
• Providing leadership and key stakeholders with the information to make effective, timely decisions.
• Performs any other duties as required.

Qualification:

• 8+ years of related work experience that demonstrates quantitative skills and an ability to perform and lead a variety of strategic projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experiences in project management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; mastery of Excel and Power Point
• Self-starter with ability to coordinate and manage projects and meet tight timelines.
• Ability to independently prepare and make effective presentations to senior management.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
• Must possess strong analytical skills, creative thinking, ability to think beyond the scope of a project.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures preferred.
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English and Japanese to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients through emails and tele-conversations.
