Factory Operation Manager (Food Industry, Forklift License, West)

Job Description:

• Oversee the daily operation and function of the Factory. Enforcing company policies as well as government's laws and regulation at all times
• Manage Factory Supervisor and Factory Workers, take note of their welfare and complaints if any, and manage their performance and conduct
• Manage factory inventory and production and ensure meeting the company’s monthly target including the arrangement for shipment out to our customer.
• Manage quality control on products manufactured and ensure products are kept at the right temperature at all times.
• Manage the maintenance/upkeep of all facilities/equipment in the factory and ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the factory environment at all times
• Ensure safety in the factory environment and implementation of First Aid / CPR / Workplace Safety and Health / Risk management in the workplace
• Liaison with supplier on factory supplies matters

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science / Engineering / Operation Management
• Minimum 3+ years of previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally, within a food production environment
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, relevant regulations, health and safety requirements, auditing requirements and relevant legislation
• Experience in LEAN manufacturing and delivering change, as well as implementing continuous improvement
• Strong team leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement
• Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making abilities
