• Develop efficient transportation routes for the movement of goods, considering factors such as distance, traffic patterns, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Optimize truckloads and container shipments to maximize capacity utilization and minimize transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and documentation requirements, including customs clearance procedures for international shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring smooth flow of goods and minimal delays.
• Identify and mitigate transportation risks such as delays, disruptions, and capacity constraints through proactive planning and contingency measures.
• Communicate transportation schedules, updates, and issues to internal stakeholders and external customers to manage expectations and resolve concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for emergency situations that may disrupt transportation operations.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and performance reports.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
• Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
