Job Requirements

• Minimum diploma or higher qualification.
• Workplace Health and Safety Officer (WHSO) certification through the Ministry of Manpower or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, with preference for internal auditor certification.
• Experience in shipyard operations, particularly with major oil and gas clients.
• Strong competencies in results orientation, adaptability, effective intelligence, leadership, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with project management team as sourcing representative for new projects, interpret drawings, source, buy and manage parts (deliveries, non-conformance) for new project.
- Be the main contact between supplier and NTS Engineering/ project team on technical queries that may arise during request for quotation stage. compiles technical queries and lead discussions to address them.
- Ensure the price and lead time targets of the new projects are being met.
- Ensure the On Time Delivery of materials for new project based on build plan
- Involved in the ECO routing approval to ensures changes are implemented on time by supporting the information's like price and Leadtime during ECO digestion.

Skills

- Able to interpret mechanical drawings
- Familiar with precision machining parts and secondary process
- Good knowledge in change management for a manufacturing setup.
- Able to create sourcing strategy for new projects.
- Familiar with Southeast Asia Supplier
- Supplier management, projects and material management skills

Experience

- At least 5 years' experience in sourcing OR NPI project management in manufacturing set-up
- Experience in managing new projects
- Exposure on managing overseas suppliers (US & Europe)
- Experience in creating sourcing strategy, material project management for NPI
- Able to negotiate price, lead time and payment terms with suppliers, able to understand Engineering Change Orders.

-Project Operation

Assist engineer to design, plan and coordinate for geotechnical instrumentation projects, schedule control, permits for on-site installation, setting up and commissioning of monitoring.

-Instrumentation

Ensure full commission of system, with regular monitoring regime in various application of deep excavation, building structure, tunneling etc. and troubleshooting as well if necessary -Data Processing and Reporting Monitoring data processing, review and analyst, with report submission to client.

-Protection of Company Interest

Liaise positively with client, consultants and authorities for the benefit of the company. Implement safety and safe work procedure as established by the company Maintain and safe keep machine/instruments/equipment/tools of the company Promote and safeguard the reputation and positive image of the company.
