Job Description: Senior Avaya Platform Specialist with Network and Security Expertise

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Avaya Platform Specialist with a strong background in networking and network security. With 18 years of expertise, the ideal candidate will lead the design, deployment, maintenance, and security of Avaya communication systems, ensuring seamless integration with the organization's network infrastructure while safeguarding communication systems from potential threats.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategic Oversight:

Lead the design and implementation of Avaya platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee the integration of Avaya systems with complex network infrastructures.

Provide expert guidance on telecommunication strategies, network architecture, and security best practices.

2. Advanced System Administration:

Manage and optimize advanced Avaya solutions, including Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, and Avaya Contact Center platforms.

Oversee system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management to ensure performance and reliability.

Design and manage complex call flows, IVR systems, and SIP trunking solutions.

3. Network and Security Integration:

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

Mastery of Avaya platforms (Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, Avaya Session Border Controller, Avaya Contact Center).

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, H.323), routing, and switching.

Proficiency in network security tools and practices (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, VLANs).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination & Follow-Up

· Track and monitor the progress of all business development projects, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely updates and adherence to project milestones.

· Serve as a liaison between the Business Development Director and various teams, facilitating clear communication and efficient project management.

· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, key actions, & timelines.

· Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks, holding team members accountable for deliverables to maintain momentum across projects.

2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

· Effectively communicate project updates, instructions, and feedback from the Business Development Director to the team, ensuring prompt action and clarity.

· Support relationship management with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating smooth, professional, and effective communication.

3. Operational & Administrative Support

· Provide administrative support on various business development activities, including preparing documents, managing data, and conducting necessary research.

· Coordinate travel arrangements, event logistics, and other operational needs for the Business Development Director.

· Manage ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed to support the productivity and efficiency of Rigel Technologies’ Business Development team.

4. Calendar /Whatsapp & Email Management

· Oversee and manage the Business Development Director’s calendar, arranging meetings, appointments, and coordinating schedules to avoid conflicts.

· Prioritize meeting requests based on strategic importance, project deadlines, and stakeholder needs.

· Prepare necessary materials for meetings, ensuring the Director is well-informed on objectives and relevant discussion points.

Manage WhatsApp chat and email

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, track progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.

· Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise effectively between teams and stakeholders.

· Experience in building and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

About The Role

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) administers full-time and part-time undergraduate degree and graduate programmes.

SUSS Student Life (under Student SUcceSS Centre) aims to create an enabling culture that empowers students to maximize their personal potential. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Special Education Needs (SEN) project team that will review various systems, processes and programmes that support Special Needs students. The candidate will also curate curriculum to enhance capacity of SUSS to provide support to Special Needs students.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop an inclusive framework to guide curriculum for students and staff.
• Design programmes or courses for SUSS students and external partners with special needs.
• Design and deliver workshops to enhance SUSS staff's capacity to support SEN students.
• Conduct workshops for employers to develop skills in hiring and managing SEN students.

Job Requirements

We are looking for individuals who possess a background in developing Special Needs Curriculum, have a strong ability to lead the development and implementation of programmes, are able to forge strong partnerships and are committed to the preparation and development of students. Candidates should be intellectually nimble; have an eye for detail as well as collaborative possibilities; and the ability to tackle challenging situations with finesse and determination. A strong passion for people development is also expected. Having a good understanding of the special needs ecosystem is a plus.

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in special needs curriculum development.

• Provide BIM modeling/CAD drafting and design support.
• Coordinate and manage BIM model, create Revit families and CAD blocks.
• Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from project managers and engineers.
• Ensure the completion of BIM projects in accordance to project requirements and in compliance with authorities’ guidelines.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage workflows, processes and implementation of BIM projects.
• Knowledge in BIM responsibilities.
• Maintain and perform document control.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in construction sector.
• Minimum 2 years knowledge of BIM and submission standards, hands-on experience for BIM projects.
• Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts.
