Job Title: Fund Operations Associate

Job Description & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in funds set up by coordinating with a lawyer, auditor and administrator for fund documents.
• Monitor and support existing funds’ day-to-day operational needs which include USD settlement, monthly NAV, subscription and redemption, monthly and quarterly investors reporting, year-end financial statements, audit, tax reporting, legal/compliance filings, etc.
• Identify and manage initiatives to improve operational processes and reduce operational risks.
• Work closely with fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate production of fund NAV.
• Capture and reconcile all transactions in the portfolio management system.
• Perform trading as well as trade, cash and positions reconciliations.
• Report AUM and P&L.
• Handle ad hoc projects as necessary.
• Assist to trade for a Portfolio Manager.
• Set up trade exchange accounts.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting / Business Administration preferred but not mandatory.
• CFA or CPA preferred.
• Up to 5 years of operations and risk assessment experience in funds/financial services industry.
• Ability to manage data for reporting.
• Foreign exchange and securities market industry experience.
• Regulatory and/or compliance experience (e.g. anti-money-laundering, KYC)
• Proficient with Excel while applying strong analytical skills in the manipulation and understanding of data.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, motivating, managing and training team to optimise performance
• Ensure adequate staffing levels at all times, whilst working within budgetary parameters

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor management, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Goods Receipt: Match Delivery Orders (DO) with Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR).
• Invoice Processing: Convert MIGO entries into invoices, ensuring all supporting documents are attached.
• Direct Invoice Entry: Enter direct invoices into the SAP system accurately.
• GIRO Reduction: Record all GIRO deductions into the SAP system before month-end closing.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and submit payments to suppliers on a monthly basis or upon receiving approved payment requests, ensuring accuracy and proper record-keeping.
• Monthly Monitoring: Ensure timely receipt and entry of Debit Note (DN) or Credit Note (CN) into the SAP system and request SOAs from suppliers.
• Daily Cashbook Reporting: Report and maintain the daily cashbook.
• Payment Forecast Updates: Update forecast payment details and monitor cash balances in the bank.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in an accounting role.

Requirements :-
