Sales Manager Responsibilities

Primary Objective

• To manage a portfolio of Retail and non-Retail non-performing loans (“NPL”) and formulating strategies for recovery action;
• To provide effective management information support for diligent monitoring of NPL accounts and in ensuring prompt follow up actions;
• To assist in periodic internal and regulatory reporting of NPLs in a timely manner; and
• To assist in the administrative functions of Loan Recovery as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

To develop skillsets in recovery under the retail and non-retail NPL portfolio so as to achieve targeted recovery action to meet KPIs assigned.

Tasks

• To manage the legal recovery actions by the Bank including but not limited to appointment of external legal counsels in the Bank’s panel, liaising with the legal firms, collating and maintaining the borrowers’ information from various credit files, checking the accuracy of borrower’s information/data produced by the legal firms and following up on subsequent legal actions until all legal avenues have been fully exhausted.
• To tackfully engage with customers who responded to our legal actions for loan recovery/collections.
• To coordinate with / assist fellow colleagues to engage borrowers who responded to the Bank’s legal demands for formulation of a restructuring and rescheduling (R&R) plan under a credit application to management for approval. Thereafter, proper follow through in documentation/administration functions for implementation and monitoring that approved plans are diligently complied.
• To promptly and diligently file Proofs of Debt (“POD”) for borrowers bankrupted or under Debt Repayment Scheme.
• To assist in any reporting matters as assigned by the Head of Loan Recovery.
• To assist in proper filing and administration tasks within the Loan Recovery.
• To assist on all recovery and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Loan Recovery.

• Review and monitoring customer receivables aging
• Prepare trade-related expenses accrual, A&P expenses accrual, provision doubtful debts and other AR-related journal entries
• Accurate and timely Processing of customer claims and payments
• Provides insight to customer payment behavior and credit risks
• Maintaining accurate and up to date accrued expenses and AR records
• Collaborating with sales teams to resolve customer billing and collection issues
• Performing accounts reconciliation
• Ensuring accounting and other AR related processes are compliant with accounting standards & company policies
• Identify and mitigate credit risks
• Check and reconcile customer statement of accounts, follow up on unreconciled items
• Prepares management reports for Sales and FP&A
• Responsible for keeping AR books in respective countries for all sales channels in accordance with accounting principles and all relevant regulations, laws and standards
• Implementing and maintaining AR processes and systems across the organization
• Liaise with external service provider for relevant outsourced accounting activities
• Ensure Sales signed distribution agreement with customer on a timely manner

Responsibilites:

• Create daily schedules for collection and delivery routes, optimising efficiency and minimising delays.
• Address any issues that arise during collection or delivery promptly and effectively.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses related to trips.
• Organise regular training/ toolbox sessions.
• Perform cross training for team members.
• Schedule regular maintenance for all vehicles in the fleet, including inspections, servicing, and repairs.
• Ensure that all team members complete required safety training courses.
• Monitor the performance of team members and provide feedback as needed.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination of collection and delivery activities.
• Approach problems with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Be prepared to step in and fulfill the duties of other fleet supervisors in their absence.
• Develop protocols for responding to emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or severe weather conditions.
• Lead investigations into incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles.

• Min ITE holder/Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
