Objectives:

Responsible for support in creation and implementation of strategic plans to enhance store performance.

Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

• Formulate and implement customer loyalty and retention strategies based on data from customer data analysis

Planning & Implementation:

• Develop and refine strategic directions, goals, as well as business targets
• Develop strategic plans to enter organisation's identified markets based on assessed costs, benefits and risks involved
• Develop organisational strategies and policies by analysing the impact of internal and external influencing factors and seeking consultation from relevant stakeholders

Market & Competitor Analysis:

• Conduct regular market research to understand industry trends and competitor strategies
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager

Store Operations:

• On-site training and hands-on at retail stores and oversee business practices for effective strategy development
• Occasionally work in-store for strategy implementation or adhoc duties to support execution of retail initiatives

Job Specifications:

• 2-5 years of working experience in retail strategy or retail management
• Knowledge in data analysis and strategic planning
• Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
• Proficient in English and Japanese languages
• Able to work independently and meet the deadlines

Job duties & responsibility

• To provide general management support to all departments, monitoring guest satisfaction & feedback, ensuring guest safety and security
• Supervise and delegate the daily shift activities of the department
• Train and develop team members to provide excellent customer service. Ensuring all systems and operating equipment are in good working order
• Comply with all policies, procedures and standards of the property
• Conduct shift briefings
• Represents Hotel operations in situation management/SITREP reporting and is expected to make critical decisions to ensure best possible guest experience
• Handle all duties as assigned by the FOM/AFOM
• To provide guests with accurate Hotel and Tourism information
• Attend to all room sales and room reservation queries and requests
• Create and update reservation records in accordance with booking confirmation
• Managing daily payment transactions

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of handling PMS and payment systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive team player
• Customer oriented & positive working attitude
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Able to start work on short notice or immediately
