Job Summary

Based in Singapore, the PR & Content Manager is responsible for planning, developing, overseeing and implementing public relations strategies and communications content on a global level. Primary Relationships

Client Development

• Ownership of media strategy and campaign delivery across regional designated clients.
• Support relationship development with key regional clients – be the go-to for marketing opinion and advice.
• Up-selling of diversified products, including proprietary media.

Talent Management & Development

• Manage career development of team members in all relevant aspects: to educate and equip.

What you’ll bring:

• A meticulous and organized integrator who can prioritise and manage tasks with minimal supervision. You are also an independent manager and at the same time strong team player who collaborates well with a team.
• An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills is an important prerequisite, as you will be working with stakeholders including clients, media vendors and internal cross-functional teams. Your eagerness to build good rapport and cultivate “trusted advisor” relationship will be an important attribute to success.
• Being a member of the team, you will be jointly responsible for delivering best-in-class work to clients in driving growth for Wavemaker. We seek an individual with inquisitive and analytical mind, who is rigorous in work approach and delivery. Not afraid to push envelope or challenge the norm; and have a keen interest to improve operational efficiency.
• You must be highly motivated to drive success not only for the team but for agency as well. You will help bring to life Wavemaker’s culture of positive provocation with a growth mindset and a can-do attitude. You will seek to actively contribute/support agency-wide initiatives outside your immediate team scope when required.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 + years of managerial experience in integrated Media.
• Media agency experience preferred.
• Knowledge in cross-functional planning across SEO, SEM and Social & Performance media is an advantage.

Event and Community Manager

The Event and Community Manager will consistently deliver exceptional service to our client through excellent operational, community management and logistical facilities management. The role requires strong operational understanding and practical experience in event logistics and venue management. As the lead for event management, you will need to keep the new attendees and existing clients engaged weekly with content. You must be comfortable in the front line and strike a conversation with clients. An extroverted attitude is a must.

This role will report directly into the Head of Branding and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in event planning, coordinating & management
• Responsible for ensuring smooth execution and operations on site during events
• Compile post event reports
• Assist in preparation of proposals, research and presentations with design team
• Manage logistics, resources, and suppliers for events.
• Involved in basic setup and dismantling of event
• Maintain relationship with existing customers and grow the community
• Build new business opportunities

Requirements:

• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (Chinese preferred for overseas event)
• Able to multi-task at work
• Strong team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe photoshop and illustrator would be advantageous.
• May be required to work beyond normal working hours / weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event management or marketing communications
• Prior experience in an event or PR agency setting will be preferred
