This role reports to the Purchasing Manager.

1. Responsible for the procurement of the following products used in the hotel, but not limited to:

a. Food & Beverage

b. Stationery Supplies

c. Printing Supplies

d. General Supplies

2. Evaluates and selects products to ensure that all products procured:

a. are of high quality standard and meet customers’ expectations

b. correct quantity can be delivered on time

c. price is most favorable against 3 quotations received whenever possible

d. helps to prevent wastage and minimal cost

3. Performs follow-up with Supplier if there is a discrepancy between Purchase Order and physical delivery on pricing, quantity or quality.

4. Covers the duties and responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager in his/her absence.

5. Assists Finance to verify and clarify any billing discrepancy.

6. Maintains the purchasing records filing system and ensures that records are up to date.

7. Updates Purchasing Manager and relevant departments with information on new products/prices.

8. Responsible to negotiate with vendors for better pricing on bulk purchases.

9. Generates Purchase Orders.

10. Co-ordinates with Marketing Communications Department on any printing requests.

11. Assists in physical inventory for all operating equipment in circulation and in store when required.

12. Responsible for compilation and submission of quarterly quotes to Chef for review.

13. Performs any assignment given by the Purchasing Manager from time to time.

Job Description:

• Request quotation and price negotiation with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase order, ensure timely delivery and follow through the complete procurement cycle.
• Responsible for construction material / machinery purchase and to maintain with proper record for receipts and issuance.
• Matching of supplier’s invoices with supporting documents such as PR, PO & DO.
• Maintain up to date prices from suppliers.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Preferably experience in Construction Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice and consultation for interpretation of procurement policies and procedures to end-users
• Manage purchasing cycle from invitation to quotation, evaluation of quotes, contract establishment, purchase orders and payment in accordance to the relevant IM policies
• Support contract management and supplier performance management
• Prepare periodic reports related to procurement
• Maintain and evaluate lists of current and prospective vendors/contractors/suppliers
• Manage suppliers' delivery of goods/services
• Analyze the procurement requirements and selects the most appropriate procurement methods based on interpretation and assessment of established policies, practices and experience
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, cost and delivery objectives
• Work closely with all other functions to improve purchasing procedures and contribute towards effective cost management
• Administer GeBiz-related requests and procedures across the procurement lifecycle; support relevant requests and clarifications
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma in related discipline, minimum GCE ’O’ level
• Prior procurement experience in an educational institution would be an advantage
• Hands-on knowledge on GeBiz
• Effective interpersonal skills with good command of English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Job Description - Warehouse Officer

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory through timely and accurate inventory updates in WMS & ERP on a daily basis
• Daily inbound/outbound delivery schedule arrangement
• Perform stock allocation with FIFO principle for outgoing orders
• Maintain proper inventory control and accuracy (System & Physical) and high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping of warehouse
• Observe safe warehouse practices and security
• Conduct investigation on irregularities such as damages or stock discrepancy and report findings to immediate superior
• Communicate and coordinate operations with other plant personnel and functions
• Perform any other work related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate superior

Requirements:

• Preferably with 1 year relevant experience in warehouse operations; Suitable candidates with 2 years & above relevant warehouse experience will be considered for a senior role (team lead)
• Forklift license is compulsory, Class 4 license / other applicable certifications are a plus
• Microsoft Dynamics WMS software knowledge will be an advantage
• Must be a responsible and resourceful team player who is able to make sound technical decisions in a fast paced environment
• Good interpersonal, management and problem solving skills
• Ideally with production industry background in the Oil & Gas or related industries
• Fresh graduates with positive attitudes to learn are welcome
• Able to start work immediately or short notice would be an advantage

DESCRIPTION

· Handle allocated vessels for procurement arrangement.

· To work closely with the Superintendent Engineer directly for the procurement and supply of goods and services to vessel/s as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

· To maintain the following:

- A full record of all requisitions received from the vessels;

- Coordination with Superintendent Engineer on requisition received from vessels;

- Initiate enquiries with company approved suppliers;

- On receipt of quotations make price comparison of the supplier and present the data to Superintendent in-charge for approval;

- To generate Purchase Orders in the system and send to Supplier and to get their acknowledgement of receipt of order.

· To arrange dispatch of stores/spares in close coordination with Superintendent Engineer through the most economical way but always keeping in mind urgency of goods required on board.

To obtain delivery acknowledgement from vessel

REQUIREMENT

· Min. GCE ‘0’ Level

· Good written and interpersonal communication skills

· 2-5 years’ experience with Ship Management Company is a must.

· Resourceful, driven, proactive and independent.

· Strong negotiation capability

· Team player, able to work with team members.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and goals.

· Be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Provision Purchaser

Location: Tuas (near to Gul Circle MRT)

Salary: $2,200 - $3,000

Working days: Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm, Sat 9am to 1pm (alt Saturday after probation)

Job Description:

• Handle and response to all inquiries
• Able to quote all inquiries and response to inquiries using Navision system
• Process all invoices
• Handles issues pertaining to quotations, orders and invoices
• Negotiate prices & order follow up with suppliers
• Liaise closely with warehouse, suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Customer relationship management
• Coordinate with various departmental personnel and resolve customer issues
• Participate in team meetings and provide sales lead
• Manage supplies to meet customer demands
• Handling the day-to-day incoming and outgoing correspondences
• Support Sales Team for data entry, document processing

Requirements:

• At least possess O’ level/Diploma.
• With F&B / hotel catering / provision background is preferably
• Relevant experience in ship chandler industry advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
• Experience in Navision is an advantage.
