Qualification criteria

· University degree, preferably in Business related field (master's degree preferred)

· Proficiency in English

· 7+ years of professional experience, whereof 4+ years in procurement

· International experience from multinational company

· Experience from an above-market role

· 3+ years of proven managerial experience

· Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite

Main purpose of the job

The primary role of a Global Category Manager – IT is to lead and implement procurement strategies, vision, and governance across the organization. This position heads the Procurement team, fostering unity across regions and promoting the sharing of best practices and knowledge. Alongside adhering to established governance, policies, and processes, the role involves protecting the company's assets and reputation through effective internal control systems, procedures, and legal compliance. The role is also responsible for driving sustainable procurement and procurement innovation strategies, as well as creating and implementing category strategies. Responsibilities include executing strategic sourcing plans to maximize business value, building and enhancing stakeholder relationships across all procurement activities, and managing supplier partnerships. The Global Category Manager also manages, and tracks plans and budgets against objectives, key value drivers, and related KPIs. Risk management, with a focus on price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability, is a key part of the role. The ultimate goal of the role is to contribute to operational excellence in Procurement and drive continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with Asahi's overall strategy and external benchmarks.

Accountabilities and deliverables

1. Implement Procurement purpose, vision, strategies, and governance.

2. Lead Procurement team overseeing the definition and execution of functional goals.

3. Promote one team spirit between all regions to enable sharing of best practices and knowledge.

4. Support Global Procurement People strategy and culture (incl. DEI, employee engagement and well-being).

5. Self-manage adherence to defined governance, policies, and processes.

6. Protect all company’s assets by putting in place internal control system and procedures.

7. Protect reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation.

8. Drive Sustainable Procurement (incl. CSR) and Procurement innovation strategies and projects.

9. Create and implement category strategies.

10. Execute strategic sourcing plans to maximize the value for the business.

11. Build and enhance strong stakeholder relationship across all Procurement activities.

12. Develop and maintain strong partnership with suppliers including performance and quality assurance.

13. Manage and track plans and budgets including objectives, key value drivers and related KPIs.

14. Risk management focusing on extended agenda: price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability.

15. Contribute to achieving operational excellence for Procurement, including its processes and systems.

16. Drive continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.

Job Duties:

· Accept and carry out responsibilities in accordance with the company compliance, health, and safety policies.

· Managing and ensuring the fulfillment of Inbound/Outbound/VAS activities based on customer’s volume trend, sales campaigns/activities to ensure a well-functioning supply chain to local stores

· Monitoring of volume/activities ensuring facilities and resources are optimized and sufficient to support a consistent and flow-functioning distribution centre.

· Close monitoring on day-to-day activities and implementation of proactive measures to raise KPI targets

· Manage team performance and workload to ensure effective and efficient service delivery by the operations team.

· Keeping close contact with and customers, transporter, and suppliers to ensure good service levels, productivity, and optimal customer service

· Ensuring operational plans and forecast are executed promptly.

· Decision making based on analytical data.

· Responsible for meeting KPIs within the agreed lead time.

· Lead, develop and support team members growth and performance by through continuous improvement (Training/Materials) and setting qualities targets.

· Undertake any other activities as directed by immediate superiors.

Requirement:

· Minimum Diploma in logistics or Supply Chain Management or a related field

· Experience in managing and leading a team of 60 - 80 workers

· Strong leadership skills –Ability to delegate work, follow up on the results and provide constructive, straightforward feedback

· In-depth knowledge of key principles in operations.

· A hands-on person with min. 2 years of supervisory experience and people management

· Able to ideate and drive projects in fast-paced environment

Job Duties:

· To do receipt & issue of good

· To be responsible for all movements of inventory to and from warehouse

· To operate stacker / reach truck to load & unload goods (Trucks/Container)

· To assist driver on delivery (whenever necessary)

· To maintaining warehouse cleanliness

· To do other adhoc duties assign by Manager or Storekeeper

Requirement:

· Min 1 year experience working in warehouse environment is required.

· Hardworking and team player.

Job Description:

• Assist in the operations of all warehousing including stock control and stock inventories movement and yearly stock take accountability

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in overseeing Logistics & Inventory Management activities to align with both customer and company expectations.
• Aid in data analysis, inventory planning strategies, and their execution under the guidance of the Manager.
• Support the Head of Department in achieving inventory targets and serve as a backup for the Parts Coordinator role.
• Contribute to enhancing logistics operations.
• Gain familiarity with various functions within the Inventory Department, identify areas for improvement, and develop procedures for streamlining tasks.
• Collaborate with the Manager to integrate functions and perform executive-level tasks.
• Perform safety and health tasks, including incident reporting, coordinating safety activities, suggesting solutions for addressing safety shortcomings, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and operational quality standards.
• Handle material management and coordination duties, including document control, report generation, workflow administration, and material planning.
• To document workplace safety and health (WSH) incidents.
