Job Title: Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering

The Position
The Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering will take the lead in supplier performance management and improvement activities, drive investigations to resolve supplier quality issues, and manage/ mentor a team of SQEs.
This role will also provide technical leadership and support to SQEs, maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s quality system, and assist in developing and implementing plans for continual improvement of the SQE processes.
Essential Functions
● Take lead in supplier performance management and improvement activities and formulating KPIs.
● Drive investigations to resolve supplier quality issues and identifying improvement opportunities with regular review of suppliers’ performance.
● Develop and mentor a team of SQEs to broaden their skills and experience particularly in the areas of leadership, problem solving and process excellence tools.
● Maintain thorough knowledge of the Company’s Quality system and to work within established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
● Ensure the implementation of management systems within their area of responsibility (including health & safety, quality & environmental).
● Develop and implement plans for continual improvement of the SQE processes.
● Ensure appropriate resource allocation and prioritization to support the team’s deliverables to agreed timelines and budgets.
● Ensure all supplier SPVs and CAPAs are completed within their required timeframes.

Work Hours and Environment
Full-time position, office hours from Monday to Friday and regulated medical device industry
Physical Demands
Ability to work and requires 25% traveling.
Required Education and Experience
● Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and supplier quality management.
● Experience in medical device required
