Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of all international surface preparation standards, painting/coating application standards, inspection standards, contract, specifications, material technical data sheet, material safety data sheet, documentation etc.
• Witnesses prequalification of painting system, painter, blaster and adhesion testing subjected for project approval before commencement of painting activities.
• Coordinates in-coming coating materials (e.g. paints, thinners, abrasives etc) conditions, data sheet and batch certificates in accordance with project.
• Inspects correct type of blasting equipment and tools to be used to meet the paint quality according to the paint specification.
• Inspects pre-cleaning or solvent cleaning of surface, metal surface imperfection/defects, surface profile of blast cleaned surface using right inspection tools.
• Assesses surface cleanliness soluble salt contamination on blast-cleaned surface and related test such as pull-off test & reports.
• Handles painting inspections in blasting and painting inspection of tank coatings, ship hull painting, and structural items
• Coordinates Request for inspection (RFI) to third party and client paint inspectors on hold point and witness point as per project inspection test plan (ITP).
• Sends enquiries to Paint manufacturers for Painting Specification in accordance with project Requirements and Secure Quality document for painting; Inspection & Test plan, blasting and coating procedure.
• Ensures calibration certificates of painting instruments are valid & available for reference
• Supervises the workplace and workers safety.
• Ensures coating is practical and in accordance with the specified requirements by preparing or reviewing drawings, specification, job instruction and material selection notes etc.
• Reviews Inspection Test Plan (ITP) as per project specification and procedures
• Coordinates and perform Coating inspection of structural, piping and outfit works etc. of the assigned project as per approved ITP.
• Monitors all painting/coating related works and ensure all final products meet project specification requirement.
• Conducts surveillance inspection of surface preparation, paint mixing, WFT, DFT adhesion and curing of paints.
• Coordinates with yard QA/QC team for all quality documentation submission to SCM with the construction completion.

Requirements

Job Summary:

In this role you will perform documented inspections in the verification of conformance of parts to applicable drawings, procedures, specifications and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The QC Inspector is responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan according to customer’s and Flowserve’s specifications and international standards. QC Inspector will work closely with Supervisor/Lead to complete the daily assigned tasks (incoming inspection, in-process inspection, NDT inspection and final/outgoing inspection). Conducting inspection on various stages of the inspection to ensure the products fulfill the required quality as given in the production requirements.

Job Description:

• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement.
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections on mainly Structural Works and Architectural Works.
• Assist project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements.
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA’s good industry practice.
• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained.

Job Description

- Responsible for coordination, execution, and implementation of key food safety and quality programs and policies for the site.

- Ensure GMP and food safety requirements and policies are implemented and respected

- Develop, implement, maintain and coordinate FSMS programs (HACCP,

Environmental Monitoring, Pest Management, Raw Material and Finished Products

Sampling Plan) for the production facility

- Support the implementation of corrective actions associated with identified gaps (both internal and external)

- Ensure data is entered into the Quality documents accurately and in a timely manner

- Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure incoming ingredients, chemicals and packaging materials are sampled, inspected, and approved for use in the plant

The Global Lead for supplier quality is responsible for the effective management and control of our supply base in order to ensure we are receiving quality parts that meet our specifications and are on time. This leader will minimize our cost variance due to supplier poor quality by developing and standardizing our supplier management systems, detailing the quality requirements for supplier approval, standardizing and enabling the dormakaba part approval process (dkPAP), and ensuring cross-functional collaboration and communication pathways between workstreams.

Key tasks :

• Establish and lead global supplier quality systems across global plant and procurement operations.
• Reduce cost variance due to supplier poor quality by effectively developing and deploying suppliers, standardizing incoming quality processes for purchased parts, increased accountability to supply base for poor quality performance and effective implementation of chargeback policies and procedures ensuring 100% recovery from costs incurred due to poor supplier quality.
• Lead and develop a high-performing and diverse team of global supplier quality engineers, enhancing the organization quality culture through coacking and technical engagement, enruing the timely information flow to assigned team members, stakeholders and suppliers for the asigned team.
• Global implementation and standardization of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), accounting for categorical and change nature risks. Driving improvement of supplier first pass yield dkPAP, approval time, and safe launch success in the case of NPI.

Qualification & Experiences:

• At least 5 years of working experience, 3 years in dealing with customer quality managers or direct customer facing, related to the manufacturing environment, preferably from the semiconductor, semiconductor equipment industry, electronics, or high-tech instrument industry
• Strong knowledge and practices in 8D, SPC, FMEA, 6-sigma methodology (Certified Black/Green Belt), and change management
• Good understanding of first-article inspection requirements and expectations
• Excellent leadership and effective communicator with all levels of associates and management
• Experienced in Minitab is an advantage
