THE ROLE

The Position

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

About the Role 

The Brand team at Carousell is responsible for driving scaled communications and building brand affinity and love for Carousell through efficient and effective marketing across our 6 markets.

You will be responsible for making Carousell a well-loved and differentiated brand in order to make secondhand, first choice.

You will get to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as design, country and category marketing, PR/communications, product and external media and creative agencies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Based in our APAC regional headquarters in Singapore, you will lead the Centre of Excellence (COE) brand team. You will also play a consultant to category marketing who report into business leaders and hold P&L responsibilities. You will report to the Head of Marketing who will be responsible for training and career progression.

1/ Brand strategy and management

• Lead the crafting of the narrative about Carousell as it evolves from a classifieds to Recommerce business. This includes (i) socialising it, (ii) bringing it to life across all consumer facing touch points including product and (iii) running marketing campaigns. Your stakeholders will be the founders, senior leaders, external agencies, internal employees and consumers.

• Build brand guidelines for new features and services such as visual identity guides and tone of voice guidelines.

• Be an internal advocate for what the brand stands for - our personality, purpose, and tone of voice. Assist in ensuring that brand guidelines are adhered to and consistently applied

• Work closely with various in-house teams like local marketing, PR, performance marketing, product to bring the brand to life in all touchpoints.

2/ Campaign management and execution

• Develop and lead creative, social, and/or influencer agency partners, fostering highly productive partnerships to deliver excellent quality across strategy, campaign conceptualization to final delivery of material, planning scope of work, conducting legal checks.

• Managing budget distribution including agency contracts and negotiation.

• Inspire ideation and thinking, dissect briefs and map out creative strategies across the different marketing channels.

• Hold the best practice for integrated campaigns to drive excellence in key markets - mainly Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia.

• Lead and manage social as a channel across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

3/ Measurement

• Manage analytics and reporting for your campaigns, working closely with the brand tracking agency, media agency, data and internal channels to track impact on brand perception metrics and business impact.

• Take ownership of brand tracking when it comes to conceptualisation of questionnaires, fielding, tracking and reporting to stakeholders on performance.

Mission of the role: Oversee and lead the growth of our Amazon online sales. This pertains to the three to four supplement and beauty brands that Truegenics owns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the end-to-end process of bringing products and brands onto the Amazon Marketplace (USA)
• Lead the overall Amazon account creation, growth, and execution of initiatives and strategies to promote revenue growth for the Amazon channel.
• Oversee and manage our daily Amazon sales operations including inventory management, product rankings, Amazon PPC marketing, and optimizing product listings
• Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy in alignment with department objectives.
• Develop and manage product copy creation, enhancement, and promotions with the support of our internal team to accelerate sales.
• Resolve all product and marketplace issues and disputes within the Amazon platform.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting on key KPIs including forecasting, profit/loss, and useful market insights to the leadership team.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure healthy inventory levels and that our inventory buys and storage are well-optimized for the Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) operation.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and/or seller/marketplace-related roles
• 2 years of experience setting up and managing Amazon and/or Amazon Vendor/Seller Central. This role needs to understand the pros of bringing products or brands onto the Amazon platform.
• Proven track record of success with expert knowledge of Amazon’s marketplace best practices and marketing strategies
• Experience with Amazon International Marketplace for the USA is a plus
• Basic/Intermediate Excel knowledge (Prior knowledge of pivot table and vlookup is a plus)
• High degree of business acumen with experience analyzing data and doing sales forecasting
• Self-starter and able to work effectively independently.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear and concise communication (both written and spoken)
• Should be able to work with S/4HANA functional processes especially around Finance (Budgeting and Planning), Procurement and HR

The NIQ/GFK Sales Account Development team is focused on growing business revenue, finding new business opportunities and market penetration. Sales growth engine which is instrumental for the company’s success.  

As a Sales Account Development Retail Lead, you will take responsibility of the retail team. With your collaborators, you will drive the overall retail collaboration from sales, renewals, and cooperation agreements with retailers in your scope.  

You will secure our collaboration, improve our partnerships, recruit new partners, and drive a sustainable sales pipeline, developing new revenue opportunities, and maintaining relationships for existing accounts.  

You will lead a team of associates to support and coach for reaching targets and enhancing their employee experience. 

Responsibilities 

• Secure the retailers cooperation continuity improving the conditions of existing co-operations agreements with current retailer partners 
• Ensure all data partnerships are correctly managed within the Partnership Program framework 
• Ensure the Best-in-Class servicing through your own team and in collaboration with the customer services using our different platforms in priority 
• Sourcing for strategic new retailers, enhancing features & inputs from existing ones (incl promo data) 
• Drive sales, cooperation renewals and overall growth of existing  retailers securing sustainable and long term pipeline, revenue opportunities ensuring an accurate forecasting; maintain C-suite customer relationships 
• Increase penetration of the NIQ/GFK solution portfolio and seek strategic alliances leveraging partnerships with third parties (e.g. for Pricing, Assortment, Loyalty, OSA, Business Intelligence, Newron and Collaborative programs) to create strong dependency of retailers on our capabilities and information 
• Develop a strategic understanding of our retailer’s industry/business/markets/clusters 
• Partner with Customer Success and other relevant  functions (Operations, Product Leadership, others) to define strategic Account Plans and JBPs and remove roadblocks 
• Drive strategic action plan to tackle Voice of the Customer feedback
