What’s it all about?

The Escalations and Compliance Manager is a key part of Currencycloud's second line compliance function, reporting directly into the Head of Compliance APAC. Position and Duties

As a Manager for Sales & Marketing in Health & Daily Beauty (HDB) business, you will be managing and overseeing both Singapore and Malaysia market for all LG Household Brands.

You are responsible for managing the overall relationship with key accounts. This includes developing and executing marketing & sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities (this includes but is not limited to):

• To explore on new market opportunity by building network with distributors companies, chain stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
• To work closely with distributor to monitor on the brand activity and sales turnover for company household brands.
• To plan for marketing initiatives to promote the brand, to create awareness and to create household brand name not only limited to the trade market, also on the ecommerce business.
• Develop brand marketing plans and ensure the implementation of these plans are within the context of the agreed brand strategy and company’s goals.
• Initiate period brand, sales and marketing reviews and initiate recommendations and action to ensure that the brand goals are met.
• Monitor market and consumer trends, conduct analysis and make recommendations where appropriate.
• Ensure that the implementation of various marketing programs is running efficiently and effectively.
• Attend to all trade and consumer enquiries efficiently and appropriately.
• Monitor competitors’ activities closely and make recommendations and initiate appropriate actions where necessary.
• Other ad-hoc task as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum qualification in Marketing/Business Administration or any similar discipline
• Minimum of four years' experience in a fast moving and ever-changing consumer goods marketing environment. Preference will be given to those with brand in management and product development experience in FMCG companies
• Strong conceptual skills and understanding of marketing planning and brand management
• Strong analytical skills
• Customer focused and with a good team working
• Able to cover both Singapore and Malaysia Market
• Able to cover both Marketing and Sales
• As this position will need to work closely with HQ in Korea, knowledge of Korean (both written & spoken) is required for communication purposes

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of digital content while ensuring compliance with brand positioning, brand standards and guidelines.
• Manage the digital marketing campaigns including social media posts (images and videos), digital paid advertising, content marketing (eg. newsletter articles/interviews) according to planned timeline.
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive awareness and acquisition.
• Optimize for SEO/SEM on social media and website.
• Analyse marketing data and insights to optimise marketing strategies and drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate the production of short Youtube videos by liaising with designer/videographer/freelance creators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Ecommerce, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in successfully managing and implementing digital marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Proficient in handling both Paid and Owned media (social, search engines, advertising, performance marketing, analytics and content creation).
• Strong grasp of SEO & SEM best practices with a proven track record in using online advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
• Strong in creative thinking and copywriting.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn.

What’s it all about?

The Escalations and Compliance Manager is a key part of Currencycloud's second line compliance function, reporting directly into the Head of Compliance APAC. The Escalations and Compliance Manager will be the primary escalation point for high-risk clients and transactions, as well as making risk appetite decisions impacting Currencycloud in the APAC region. They will work closely with colleagues in the first line of defence to provide coaching and guidance to junior team members, as well as supporting projects that enhance Currencycloud’s financial crime control framework.

What we expect of you, day to day:

• · Make judgements on escalations from compliance operations teams such as sanctions alerts, other high risk transactions and applications involving politically exposed persons.
• · Where necessary, schedule sessions to present specific cases to senior stakeholders such as the Head of Compliance APAC.
• · Deliver formal and informal training on corner cases, changes in risk appetite, and new policies/procedures to the compliance operations team.
• · Provide regular coaching and guidance to junior team members on specific cases that have been escalated.
• · Build and maintain relationships with the go to market organisation to understand emerging opportunities and market developments that may requires changes to Currencycloud’s financial crime control framework.
• · Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the overall financial crime framework by identifying new typologies and potential gaps in existing policies and procedures.
• · Support the Head of Compliance APAC in updating existing policy documents completing the annual risk assessment.
• · Support the Head of Compliance APAC on projects to enhance Currencycloud’s financial crime framework, including new processes and system implementation.
• · Maintain an excellent technical knowledge of financial crime regulations, keeping up to speed with new developments and the latest regulatory positions of key markets that Currencycloud operates in.
• · Be aware of changes in the wider business (products, jurisdictions etc.) and how these may impact the compliance operations team.

What we’re after…

• · Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance experience within the financial services industry or equivalent
• · Knowledge of Singapore financial crime regulations (or global equivalent)
• · Experience of implementing policies and procedures covering multiple jurisdictions
• · Experience of conducting business-wide financial crime risk assessments
• · Ability to provide training on problematical AML/CTF and Sanctions topics
• · Comfortable working with data
• · Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

1) Lead and spearhead the operation and execution of project from inception development Phase to manufacturing start up to site installation to completion of project.

2) Lead the project and facilitate coordination with client, architect, consultant and NSC.

3) Monitor the site progress with site manager/coordinator/supervisor

4) Develop project schedule

5) Attend site meeting or progress meeting with client/architect/designer/consultant together with site project team.

6) Handles all correspondences/documentation and prepare reports(emails, site progress report weekly update project schedule, etc.)

7) Monitor and manage approved project budget by management and provide value engineering to work scope and materials

8. Manage and resolve design and technical issues with site manager/coordinator/supervisor/Factory manager.

9) Plan and schedule project timelines

10) Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

11) Provide direction and support to project team

12) Quality assurance

13) Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to management

14) Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions (submit weekly site progress report to management)

15) Monitor and manage rectification works.

16) To establish progressive and finalized final claim to clients for each completed projects

17) To participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties when required

18) To evaluate and approve sub-contractors/suppliers claim and recommend appropriate payments

19) Attend company's weekly and fortnightly meetings

Requirements:

1) Experience in ID projects
2) Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of architectural, building and mechanical and electrical works
3) Proven experience in managing site work and managing a project team
4) Proven experience in people management and problem solving skills

5) Able to work with long hours, weekend and public holiday
