JOB PURPOSE:

The Marketing Price Support Representative (MPSR) is responsible for coordinating and supporting all activities involved in obtaining and maintaining preferred supplier pricing for specific customer opportunities.

MPSR only support suppliers with Information System setup for pricing and debits establishment.

They work directly with the Supplier and Product Marketing team for the following processes:

1. to process pricing requests (Locals)
2. to convert Locals to pricing contracts (ship & debits or SSD)
3. to maintain validity of established ship & debits (SSD)

Core Responsibilities:

• To qualify local requests ensuring they meet the Product Marketing established Service Level Agreement and suppliers require information while filtering out requests that already have valid debit pricing in place.
• To prepare and submit locals to suppliers with supplier’s information system or supplier’s portal.
• To convert local requests to debits upon notification by Product Marketing and update internal systems (Associate Meet Comp) with the appropriate evident of supplier debits agreement.
• To proactively follow up with suppliers to secure pricing responses and communicate them to Product Marketing.
• To maintain validity of all established ship & debits.
