Based in Singapore, the Senior / Digital Sales Engineer responsibility is to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound emails. The role is also responsible for understanding customer requirements, closing sales and achieving annual sales target.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
· Manage sales enquiries from the assigned customers in a timely manner including reviewing customers enquiry for application requirements, creation of opportunities in CRM, working with inside sales organization in preparation of offers, securing price approvals from the relevant authorities in the organization, responding to customers with offer, and negotiating price and terms & conditions that are favorable to Emerson.
· Follow up with customers on the submitted offers for clarifications and receipt of purchase order.
· Review customer purchase orders for correct pricing, discounts, terms and conditions, part numbers and hand it over to customer support for further processing.
· Identify key decision makers within customers organization (supply chain, engineering) and establish relationships in favor of Emerson.
· Develop sales forecasting on a monthly basis and execute the sales plan to achieve bookings commitment for the month, quarter and year.
· Proactively identify new business opportunities from the assigned customer base by understanding FSG white space, competitor weaknesses and new applications.
· Develop good understanding of Measurement Solutions product portfolio, competitor products and industry applications in order to formulate our positioning & pricing strategy to win business.
· Maintain awareness of customer trends, trade development, and competitive activity and share with the Regional sales and marketing teams.
· Seek assistance from Regional sales manager & regional field sales engineers in handling high value opportunities.
· Act as the contact for receiving customer queries and issues and work with the relevant functions within the organization to bring them to satisfactory conclusion.

For This Role, You Will Need:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the process industry
· Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
· Customer focused with good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
· Degree in Engineering
· Knowledge in flow products preferred
