We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive with a focus on the China market to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and analytical individual who is passionate about leveraging social media platforms and digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive business objectives. The successful candidate will manage our social media presence across platforms like WeChat, Little Red Book, TikTok, Youku, and Bilibili, create engaging content, optimise our website, and conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
â—Ź Social Media Management: Take charge of our presence on major Chinese social media platforms such as WeChat, Little Red Book, TikTok, Youku, and Bilibili. This involves not only ensuring our brand message and visuals are consistent and engaging but also strategizing to boost brand awareness. Engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages, fostering a community around our brand.
â—Ź Content Creation: Lead the development and implementation of a dynamic content strategy tailored to the unique audiences of each platform. This includes producing a mix of high-quality photos, captivating short-form videos, and in-depth long-form videos. The goal is to craft content that resonates with viewers, encouraging interaction, brand loyalty, and advocacy.
â—Ź SEO and Website Management: Craft and publish SEO-optimised blog posts that not only attract visitors to our website but also increase our position in search engine rankings. Regularly review and enhance the website's design and content to ensure it remains current, user-friendly, and effectively showcases our products or services. Implement tracking tools to monitor website performance and user engagement.
â—Ź Advertising: Strategise and oversee advertising initiatives on platforms like Little Red Book and Baidu. Focus on creating impactful ads that reach the target audience and achieve a high return on investment, all while managing and optimising the advertising budget. Regularly assess campaign performance to refine and improve future advertising efforts.
â—Ź Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to grasp current market trends and consumer preferences. Identify emerging opportunities for growth and innovation within the industry. Use insights gained to benchmark our marketing initiatives against industry standards, setting both realistic and ambitious goals.
â—Ź Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise analytical tools to track and evaluate the performance of our marketing campaigns across various channels. Analyse metrics related to social media engagement, website traffic, conversion rates, and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Provide detailed reports to the team, translating data into actionable insights that guide the refinement of marketing strategies.
Skills and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
â—Ź At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
â—Ź Excellent writing and communication skills in both languages to effectively engage with the target market and collaborate with team members.
â—Ź Proven experience in social media management, content creation, SEO and advertising on Chinese platforms.
â—Ź Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software.
â—Ź Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
â—Ź Fluency in both Mandarin and English is a must.
