An affiliate company, based in Japan, has a long history starting with Main Switchboards for marine vessels in 1956.
They are looking to hire a junior engineer to manage the Electrical systems in Shipping Vessels, candidate with experience on Electric Vehicles and Dynamic Positioning Systems would be advantaged.
Job Description:
- Work on site (shipyard, at refueling berths, container yard)
- Dispatch to overseas sites (ASEA countries / Middle East / EU, etc.)
- Customer service both locally and internationally on various critical issues and operation matters (email/phone)
- Report to management about client updates and states.
- Give technical advice to sales for client inquiry.
- Provide in detail technical explanations during client visits (local and internationally)
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager.
- Meeting vessel owners and management companies to present and demonstrate how products and services meet their needs with senior manager.
Job Requirements:
- Maintenance experience of electrical in engine/automobiles / motorcycles /ship / machinery / electrical equipment
- Comfortable working at heights
- Be able to go on a business trip, at least once per month, 3-5days or longer (have business trip allowance)
- Have knowledge of electronic
- Have interest in marine equipment
- Able to work OT (have OT pay)
[Advantage]
- Has SVS (Super visor safety course) certification is advantaged.
- Engineering experience in Boiler/Marine industry is advantaged.
