Junior/DevOps Engineer - Implementation Project

• Combines the best practices and experiences of development, platform and application testing and process support within the lifecycle of a software development project.

What you will do

As a Resident Automation Engineer, you will be responsible to provide engineering subject matter expertise support to the manufacturing plants, utilities and site facilities operation to ensure consistent product supply and deliver production target. You will be entrusted with the responsibility to ensure maximum plant capabilities through continuous improvement so that equipment and facilities will be optimized in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Engineering Practice and in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as EHSS requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Automation Point of Contact to the automation discussion and support requests/ troubleshooting.
• Support manufacturing automation operational activities and initiatives and ensure timely delivery and completion
• Operational Support - Responsible for acting, resolving and tracking operational issues including off-hours on-call support. Development of technical solutions to automation requirements and complex problems.
• Change Management – Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders in the development of automation solution, schedule, design and deployment plan.
• Risk Management – Undertaking risk mitigations and effective deployment of action plans and automation changes.
• Stakeholder Management – Interface with users, vendors, contractors, and cross functional teams on regular basis ensuring timely and all the required exchange of information.
• Active co-ordination with cross functional stakeholders and within the team.

What we expect of you

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Life Sciences and 5 years of directly related experience
• Knowledge of DeltaV DCS is a must
• Preferred 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing automation project management role, particularly in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries
• Hands on experience with automation systems and be knowledgeable in Emerson’s DeltaV DCS
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage small projects and work effectively as a team player
• Experience supporting information interfaces, data conversion and network infrastructure
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes
• Working knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88 and S95 industry standards
• Working knowledge of EHSS requirements
• Able to work independently
• Proactive and willing to take on challenges
