Plan and conduct ICT related training for staff and students

• Plan, design and conduct ICT baseline standards training for students from P1 to P6.
• Assist in the assessment of the students’ attainment of ICT skills.

Requirements

• Diploma level (IT-based)
• Good working knowledge of photo-editing, animation and website design
• Good working knowledge of computer and website programming, including C++, Java and XHTML
• Other certifications in ICT skills such as A+, CCNA, ACE, ACI or
• MCSE are welcome
• Experience in graphic design

Job Description

• Expected to work professionally in managing and training students, working with teachers and support school-wide projects and operations
• Manage and operate the Makers Garage
• Train and mentor projects relating to the Makers Garage

Requirements

The Personnel shall minimally have the following experience

• 3 years’ experience as ICT trainer, preferably in a MOE secondary school environment
• 1 year experience in training students in public announcement (PA) system
• 1 year experience in training students in photography, preferably in a secondary school
• 1 year experience in training students videography, preferably in a secondary school
• A Diploma in a relevant discipline · Relevant experience in managing a makerspace · Familiar with common apps for iOS supporting makerspace (e.g. polycam)

Job Description

• The staff will prepare training materials, implement, evaluate, and review the training programs for school students in alignment with school’s strategic plan and philosophy.

E-Learning

• Conduct training for all staff and students on the use of the e-learning portal.
• Conduct training to existing staff and students if there is any new features in the Learning Management System (LMS) portal.
• Assist teachers in the creation and uploading of e-learning lessons.
• Maintain and manage the school’s e-learning portal.
• Maintain and update the list of user accounts in all e-learning portal.
• Compile report on the usage of the school’s e-learning portal.

ICT support for Teachers

• Support teachers in the delivery of ICT-based lessons.
• Support teachers in the use of ICT equipment and applications.

Data Management

• Maintain network folders.
• Extraction and presentation of school and student-related data for school report and analysis purposes.

Laptops Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Assist Desktop Engineer (DE) in maintaining all laptops to be in working condition in the school.
• Provide support to staff and students in hardware and software troubleshooting.

ICT Inventory

• Maintain ICT inventory and manage ICT equipment loans and purchases for the school.

Publicity

• Maintain school’s website and social media sites with up-to-date information.
• Provide support for school publications, videos, posters etc.

Other Tasks

• Attend ICT committee meetings.

Job Description

Teaching and Learning Duties

· To create teaching and learning resources for the conduct of ICT lessons, in consultation with HODs, to strengthen the development of students’ digital literacy and technological skills. Examples of topcis to be covered include MS Excel, MS Word, Touch-typing, use of SLS and Zoom platforms, and cyberwellness content.

· To conduct age-appropriate ICT classes for P1 – P6 students and ensure they are well-equipped with ICT skills.

· To conduct ICT Lessons within curriculum time.

· To co-conduct ICT Club CCA during CCA days, supporting students on project works and preparing for competitions.

· To install and uninstall the respective ICT training courses software before/after the ICT lessons

· To ensure that the ICT equipment are in good working order before the commencement of lessons.

Administration

· To carry out administrative work related to ICT (eg. management of the facilities booking portal & other ICT-related administrative work)

School publicity and communications duties

• Work with the Principal, Vice-Principals and teachers to collate information to post them to the social media such as school’s Facebook and website.
• Manage the school’s website and FB account, and ensure that the information posted is up to date. Also, a periodic check on social media in case of any articles of interest related to the school.

Miscellaneous Duties

• To assist in the preparation of presentation materials during major events
• To assist in setting up of ICT equipment/ video-recording of events
• To assist in the design of posters/certificates/banners for school events.
• To take photos/videos for school events and organisation charts

Requirements

• The candidate supplied by the Contractor shall be registered with the Ministry of Education and remain registered with the Ministry of Education throughout the Contract period.
• Possess minimally Diploma in ICT- related field.
• Able to converse and write in English.

Job Description

· The candidate has knowledge on multimedia application and ability to conduct computer training for students.

· The candidate shall work with the HOD ICT to develop a training programme to ensures that students attain proficiency in school-identified baseline ICT skills

Job Description

Teaching and Learning

· To implement and deliver an appropriately broad-based, balanced, relevant and differentiated EdTech curriculum, including Maker activities, to students from Primary 1 to 6 levels.

Job Description

Planning

· Assist in school-initiated projects and provide project updates to the HOD / ICT and prepare any relevant documentation and guidelines pertaining to the project.
