The Role
The End User Support Lead will be responsible for leading the team to plan and implement JRIS internal system projects and perform BAU activities. He/she will work closely with stakeholders mainly from Japan Head Office, end users, system development teams, back-office teams and vendors to establish effective and efficient collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop digitalization solutions for internal systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Improve the office automation (OA) environment to create more productive workspaces.
- Establish governance frameworks to effectively manage IT risks and ensure alignment of activities with overall business objectives.
- Evaluate and review internal system processes and procedures to ensure the adherence to the corporate security process.
- Ensure that internal systems are properly maintained.
- Act as the point of liaison to Head Office for all matters related to OA and internal systems.
- Lead, guide and manage team members for project planning, execution and BAU support.
- Review and develop strategies for resource planning and utilization.
- Oversee the development of learning roadmaps for teams and functions.
- Establish performance indicators to benchmark effectiveness of learning and development program against best practices.
- Implement succession planning initiatives for key positions.
- Advise stakeholders toward reaching compromises and agreeing on expectations.
- Build high performance values-driven culture among the team in support of the organization's agenda.
- Lead and motivate team towards development and delivery of strategic priorities for Planning department.
- Provide daily supervision to team members, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped with skills and resources to manage their tasks respectively.
- Oversee hiring, training and coaching of team members.
- Perform other duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent with around 5 years’ experience in providing IT services to financial institutions.
- In -depth knowledge on MSO365, Group Policy, AD Trusts, AD Sites and Services, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
- In -depth Knowledge on Microsoft Licensing, SCCM, PC/laptop hardware and software delivery.
- Knowledge of IT service business for bank or FI.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technologies supporting asset management processes.
- Experience to handle regional projects which involve stakeholders in Japan.
- Experience supporting IT End User Service in a large organization.
- Proven experience in solution, architecture, design for desktop OS engineering, virtualization
- Experience in internal control or audit area with a deep understanding of the IT business process and systems.
- Capability to lead and drive the IT BAU related tasks with good time and stakeholder management skills and experience.
- Proactively socialize with stakeholders and maintain good relationship to steer the tasks.
- Possess strong and assertive verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast -paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Good bi-directional and collaborative attitude to work as a professional in a team.
- Microsoft certification – Intune, MS 365 mobility and security, Managing Modern Desktops, Modern Desktop Administrator, MS Azure certification, MCSA/MCSE.
- VMware certification - Security certifications and CCNA certification are desired for the role.
- ITIL v3 Foundations Certification.
- CPA, CIA, CFE or other related certification for corporate governance.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experiences.
