Financial Markets eTrading has defined an exciting strategy and aggressive multi-year year product roadmap. The FM eTrading technology team is a specialist team of individuals hired to evolve the bank’s single dealer and multi dealer platform services in a way that will differentiate Standard Chartered in the markets it participates in.
Business*
Forthcoming roadmaps include adding new asset classes to the platform, implementing regulatory changes, building more sophisticated hedging tools and generally implementing new initiatives to make the eCommerce business more competitive and successful in the marketplace.
Business Knowledge Requirements:
• Experience of working in the eCommerce technology function of an Investment Bank, Financial Services Company or Technology Company.
• Understanding of pricing for FX products (Spot, Forward, Swap,NDFs)
• Understanding of different types of order products (resting, algo)
• Understanding of FX cash product hedging
• Understanding of the broad landscape of an eCommerce environment
• Understanding of post trade workflows for eCommerce activity
• Understanding of the various bodies of regulation that impacts financial markets today

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part a large multi-asset eTrading trading system development team that is distributed between London, Singapore and Bangalore. The successful candidate is expected to:
• Capture requirements to a good level of detail to cover all scenarios and permutations
• Breakdown requirements to support the Agile methodology and produce stories that are easy for development teams to pick up
• Experienced in the delivery of complex software delivery projects in an agile environment
• Experienced in ADO and Confluence tools to facilitate requirements capture
• Experienced in managing stake holders

Key stakeholders
· Provide coordination and project management to ensure successful delivery of projects
· Act as an intermediary between business stakeholders and the development team
· Assist in the requirement gathering with a multitude of stakeholders from different disciplines within the bank and of different levels of seniority
Other Responsibilities
· Have the knowledge and confidence to apply critical thinking to make the necessary decisions to progress the project. And at the same time, understand the limits of their responsibility & expertise and know when to solicit decisions from other members of the project (business or technology)
· Help rollout features to business users post go-live
Our Ideal Candidate
· 12+ years’ Experience of working in the eCommerce technology function of an Investment Bank, Financial Services Company or Technology Company
· Analyse and understand requirements from stakeholders. Challenge status quo and the reflex of solutioning, focus on the core requirements
· Assist in the requirement gathering with a multitude of stakeholders from different disciplines within the bank and of different levels of seniority
· Partner with technology team to deliver strategic solution by consistently enhancing the product
· Responsible for comprehensive E2E testing of the product and leading discussions as a change agent
· Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
· Be an active member of the scrum team, contributing to the solution build and delivery, reviewing test cases, closing out open issues/questions, assisting with sprint planning and retrospective
· Understanding of the various bodies of regulation that impacts financial markets today
· Have the knowledge and confidence to apply critical thinking to make the necessary decisions to progress the project. And at the same time, understand the limits of their responsibility & expertise and know when to solicit decisions from other members of the project (business or technology)
Role Specific Technical Competencies
· FX, Orders and lifecycle knowledge
· FX Cash Products, Money market products on Single Dealer or Multi-Dealer platforms (Dealer-to-Client) e.g. ION or Bloomberg
· In depth FX Cash pricing knowledge
· Experience of working as a technical BA in front office in the investment banking industry
· Experience working on multiple FX ecommerce system
· Understanding of FIX APIs
· Knowledge of client algos
· Understanding of hedging workflows
